In the locker room in Milwaukee the Bucks had a quick pre tape and no meetings. Nick is waiting for Okada. When he gets there Okada asks Nick where his gear is and sure enough, Okada is wearing it under his street clothes. They hadn’t seen each other in three years and Okada keeps up his long running joke of stealing Nick’s gear with an assist from Rocky Romero. They show of photo of Okada doing the Bucks pose.
(Side note - Nick documents his close friendship with Okada in the Young Bucks book “Killing The Business” for more stories).
Brandon Cutler and Evil Uno are at Obsidian Entertainment for some event for the Fallout video game.
Montage of Bucks getting their name plates on the AEW tag titles. They find an old Cody Rhodes name plate and throw it in the garbage.
A disappointed Matt Hardy talks about the legacy of the Hardys and how their last tag team runs ended prematurely in Impact & WWE due to injuries to Jeff. They got to AEW to cement their legacy and they got a shot at the tag titles but it didn’t happen. He blames himself for being obsessed with their legacy and continuing to bring Jeff back Matt says this has left him broken and not in the fun fantastical way but truly broken. He asks why should he give a shit anymore.
A weird segment called “Floaty Time”’with Nick Nemeth where he face times with Downstait and they end up with whipped cream dollops in their eyes.
John Silver vs Trent for the BTE Championship. They show a replay of when Silver beat Trent for it in Nov 2020. They play the same “Mustard Challenge” game where they throw mustard packets into a bowl. John Silver wins yet again.
Backstage we see The Bucks & Kyle O’Reilly watching their pre tape from Dynamite.
The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Silver & Reynolds and 10) want to shut the Forbidden Door because they don’t like the NJPW guys getting to catering before they do.
From the Law Offices of Mark Sterling. We get a promo for Wheeler Yuta’s ROH Pure title defense again Sterling’s client Tony Nese on Dark Elevation.
Dark Order continues looking for the Forbidden Door but they open one and find Mark Sterling complaining in closet on a phone call about getting beat up by Wardlow.
Matt Jackson at home going through a box of old gear looking for the Bullet Club themed gear they want to wear for Forbidden Door. Memories flood back for Matt and we see still photos of past matches and different outfits.
Matt and Nick at the PPV talk about their crazy travel experience and how they just made it. They’re excited to wrestle Sting for the first time. More footage of their entrance and Sting in the rafters and the fight on the entrance ramp and match from different angles shot on cell phones.
After the match say it was fun to wear the BC gear again, seeing Gedo and wrestling Sting. They finish the show by insulting Brandon.
