When does the WWE-Hulu deal expire?

Later this year.  I am not sure of the exact date.

So if Vince’s payout to the employee was indeed a federal crime is he going to the real Hell in a Cell?

It's not a Federal crime.  But, it could very well be an ethics violation that costs him his position in WWE.  There is no cell in his future based off of what we have been told.

Have you heard anything at all about WWE having anything at all to do with Ric Flair's final match?  I ask because the commemorative title belt being sold by Starrcast has an old school WWE logo on it.

I have not heard that they want any involvement in it.  If I were them, I wouldn't want to be involved either.  When the best case scenario is that a 73 year old man who has had many, many health issues makes it through the match, I wouldn't want to be involved either.  There is no way I would be of this match.

So, was WWE right about Jeff Hardy after all?

Yep, no doubt about it.  I didn't buy the excuse for Jeff's odd behavior at the house show that led to him leaving.  Now it seems pretty clear that he had issues back then as well.

Dave, when you were writing about the reason behind the AEW audience drop last week, you said that the casual viewers were the ones who didn’t tune in, and that’s why the numbers were down. But are there really any casual AEW viewers? Isn’t the entire concept behind that company is ‘we’re here for the “hardcore” wrestling fans’ and what they produce is what they think “hardcore” wrestling fans want? And of course “hardcore” wrestling fans know all about NJPW, and if you don’t, you’re not a “hardcore” wrestling fan, right? If the “hardcore” wrestling fans are tuning out, then what does that say about the direction of AEW?

First, I think that despite AEW assuming everyone who is watching reads all the websites and knows everything about wrestling, there is a portion of their fan base that doesn’t and tunes in just because it’s wrestling and there are familiar faces that they know from WWE on the show.  To your point however, I agree that if this show was truly what hardcores wanted to see, the ratings would have, at worst, stayed even and probably would have gone up.
