AEW Dynamite tonight opened with Bryan Danielson announcing that he will not be able to be part of this weekend's Forbidden Door PPV or next week's Blood and Guts edition of Dynamite on TBS.

Danielson announced he is not cleared to compete at either event due to an injury suffered at the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing.   Bryan stated that he's still able to enter the ring, read 500 words a minute and run two miles without breaking a sweat and can prove he's the best wrestler in the world.  He told everyone not to worry about his long-term health and promised he would be back.

Bryan then announced found the "one person he can trust" to replace him at each event, but wouldn't reveal who it would be, instead promising that the fans would find out when they appear to face Zack Sabre Jr.

Danielson did not specifically address the injury, but there's been whispers he suffered a concussion, which have never been officially concerned.  Given his past history, AEW is smartly being cautious.
