With all the recent allegations, do you think it will be a long long time WWE starts doing their mass realizes due to "budget cuts"?
It will all depend on the metrics of the business. If they feel they need to make cuts to appease Wall Street, they will.
Why would the WWE do Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns at SummerSlam again? Is it because both these two men draw money as well as Vince McMahon reportedly not happy with the rest of the WWE Men’s Division?
They would do it if they/Vince think it's the best main event that they had to offer for one of their biggest shows of the year. It also says a lot about the creative process.
Since Chris Jericho is now a clown that calls himself a Wizard, shouldn’t he have been the one who lose the hair match?
If Tony Khan plans on having Eddie Kingston's team win at Blood and Guts, he would say that the heel should win here to set it up. But I would have liked to have seen Jericho lose too. Him being bald would make his character more interesting. The Wizard schtick is comedy stuff to me.
I always say someone is innocent until proven guilty, but growing up in the attitude era and watching how Vince acted on screen with women, I can’t say I’m surprised by the allegations. If they prove to be true, I honestly don’t think I could stand to watch much of the attitude era content ever again. In the same vein, if they prove to be true, A lot of those segments now seem like art imitating life. Have you heard similar sentiments from people since the allegations came out?
I have, and some people have taken it even further and told me they would stop watching WWE altogether as long as Vince is still there. Depending how this goes, he may have to step away from WWE for the good of the product. The question is will he do that or will he put himself first. It will be interesting to watch.
What do you think WWE would be like today in ring, creatively, storyline telling, etc if they had never gone public?
Probably the exact same thing that they are doing now. People remember The Attitude Era fondly but don't remember that the only reason Vince McMahon ever went away from his vision was that he was losing to WCW and had no other choice. Once he won the war, he went back to doing what loves to do.
