FORMER IMPACT WRESTLING CHAMPION RETURNING AT SLAMMIVERSARY PPV

Former Impact Wrestling and NWA Champion Nick Aldis will be returning to Impact Wrestling this Sunday as part of the Slammiversary PPV.

Aldis will join Kazarian and The Motor City Machineguns against Honor No More in a ten man tag team bout with the fifth member of Team Impact still to be announced.

Aldis was with Impact from 2008 through 2015 regularly, including a run of 128 days with the Impact title.  He was also the Ring Ka King Champion when the promotion produced that offshoot promotion for TV in India.  Aldis has returned to Impact several times, most recently at the Multiverse of Matches PPV earlier this year, but has been firmly rooted as one of the central performers in the National Wrestling Alliance under Billy Corgan.

The announcement of Aldis' return tonight was described as "The NWA's Nick Aldis" as he is currently signed to that promotion.
