IWTV “Southeast First”Uncharted Territory - Season 4, Episode 6

6/13/22 - Red Bank, TN

Scott Hensley is in the ring as we get ready for our first match. We cut to the outside as Suge D comes knocking on the back door and walks right in. Billy Tipton and Rico Gonzalez meet him at the door, they let him through but Damyan Tangra is waiting for him at the locker room. Suge taking a beating out to the arena. Suge reverses and stomps Tangra into the corner. The locker room empties out to pull Suge off him. Even Dylan Hales leaves commentary to help back Suge off. Tangra still wants a piece, as Suge was instrumental in breaking him up with his now former Suplex Science partner, Alex Kane! Tangra dives out of the ring. Break apart brawl and Suge is finally escorted out the front door. 

In the chaos, Nick Iggy ambushes Billie Starkz from behind! They roll into the ring and this is our first match!

Match 1: Nick Iggy vs Billie Starkz

Starkz eats a boatload of stomps and a fire thunder driver but she’s still fighting. Iggy lighting her up with chops as the crowd cheers her on. Iggy is in full control of this beatdown. Dylan Hales says this wasn’t SUPPOSED to be the first match but here we are. Iggy finally caught with a rebound headkick and a stunner. German for two! Iggy catches a dive into a hot shot! Billie kicks out of an AA! Starkz crotches Iggy on the top, swanton whiffs! Nick Iggy has a hand of chains and punches Billie in the face blatantly. Nick Iggy doesn’t care, he’s walking out.

Winner: Billie Starkz (by DQ)

Match 2: “Acegawd” Arik Royal vs “The Locksmith” Brandon Williams

Acegawd is fresh off a main event banger with AC Mack on Friday…and he has something to prove. Good graps to kick us off, the locksmith wants to wrap up Royal but the Acegawd is crafty. He shoves Williams off, sidewalk back breaker and a pounce for two. Rolling snap to the leg. A fallaway stump puller! Williams avoiding big shots, works to a rear choke. Slide to a kimura, Ace rolls but is in worse trouble now.  Royal reverses and dumps Brandon down. Flurry of shots from Royal. Williams firing back! Fisherman’s suplex for two! Williams knee might be done though. Trading hard chops! Williams ducks a lariat but eats a nasssssty dragon screw. Royal squares up and blasts an Acegawd’s Curse for the win!

Winner: Arik Royal

We have a promo from Joe Black, sitting in a boat. Talking about how Arik Royal was the man who brought him into wrestling in the first place…but after 13 years, maybe he’s surpassed his mentor? He considers Royal a friend but he wants this test. Yes. Please.

Match 3: “Poisoned Youth” Robert Martyr vs Adam Priest

Priest has been in some violent encounters recently and claims to be the master of all wrestling styles. Martyr looks to give him a very technical test tonight. Priest is getting his holds on but Martyr is tenacious, reversing and holding tight. Priest can’t shoot him off. Martyr looks to slingshot but Priest baseball slides him off the apron, good spot. Battle back in, priest dropkicks the knee. Hard chops and Martyr ejected into the front row. Priest is systemically working over Martyrs limbs but Robert is raging to his feet and throwing shots he can barely stand for. Priest slides out of a whip and lariats hard. Martyr throwing hard shots, big backbreaker and a powerbomb for two! Half crab in deep, Priest right out, Dodges a piledriver, vicious tweak of the knee and a snap ddt ends the night! Fantastic finish.

Winner: Adam Priest

Next week, Jonathan Gresham will be at Uncharted Territory! He’s bringing “Modern Age Grappling” with him. I can only hope that both parties understand the rules? >.>

Match 4: “Starboy” BK Westbrook vs Jaden Newman

Newman is alllllll over Westbrook but BK can hang. The go to a stalemate, BK fakes a handshake but Newman is ready for it. Round the world arm drag sends BK out. They trade dive fakes, BK uppercuts Newman straight out of a tope. Slingshot into a short spike ddt. Great move. Newman battering BK down, Westbrook frustrating with dodges and blasts a forearm to the back of the head! Newman with an octopus variant, BK tries to escape, launches into a pair of knees. Newman with a head scissor to the corner! Tornado ddt! Newman goes for the dive and lands it! Top rope meteora! BK gets the rope! He tries to scramble away but Jaden takes him down and applies the hangman’s clutch in the center. Tap out!

Winner: Jaden Newman

Newman wants the mic. Newman is the foundation of TWE. He wants to be more than that. When you think of a foundation? You think of Jonathan Gresham. If Newman wants to be thought of as one of the best in the world…next week, it starts with The Octopus.

Match 5: “The King’s Road Slayer” Derek Neal vs Kevin Ku 

Ku throwing some short kicks at Neal’s tree trunks. He takes him down but Neal is right to the ropes. Cravat takeover and a hard kick to the back. Neal is ANNOYED and lands a hard chop. Time to test the mettle of their chest meat. Ku says f*** that and lands a flying kick. Ku dropped to the knees and a falling forearm drops him. Hard shots and stomps from Neal. Northern lights for two! Trading chops again, Neal unloads a huge running dropkick to the gut! Ku firing up on chops…he wants more and more….palm strikes! Neal wipes out on a corner dropkick! Ku with a rebound enziguri! Flurry of kicks, Neal crumbles for two! Huge shots and a butterfly suplex for two! Ku head kicks out of the dude buster! Double down! Battle to their feet, great back and forth, Neal stumbles to the outside! Neal drops Ku with a big knee! Close two! Neal pulling Ku up, Kevin quickly hits a small package driver for the three! Super hard hitting. That was awesome! 

Winner: Kevin Ku

It’s Discovery Gauntlet time! You gotta win it to stay in it! Damion Turner is on week three but he has a real test tonight.

Match 6: Damion Turner vs Noah Hossman

HOSSMAN! Turner talks down to the big man which is a really dumb idea. Hossman blasting his with hard shoulder blocks. The crowd chanting for Hoss as he gator rolls Turner. He wants a cannonball, Turner jacks up the lower back. Missile dropkick for a near fall. Turner unloading with hard shots, stomps and dropkicks. Turner not letting up and tries to wrench Hossman’s neck. Hossman loses his headgear…he throws Turner off the ropes! Huge screaming headbutt! Cannonball! Turner misses a clothesline, big lariat and a doctor bomb! Hossman wins!!!!

Winner: Noah Hossman

Hossman gives his victory speech but the story here is Damyan Tangra storming in. He doesn’t care about The Good Hand or Alex Kane. He just wants to fight Suge and he will follow him everywhere until he gets him. Nice.

Match 7: M*E*R*C(c) vs Hunter Drake (w/ Dillion McQueen) (for the TWE Championship)

McQueen has been banned from ringside….but he bought a ticket so he sits down. We can’t kick him out. Merc is looking for payback after last week’s loss in the 6-man. Drake kisses his picture of Kenzie Paige (who can’t be here tonight) before getting into Merc’s face. He says he’s the strongest. Merc dares  him to prove it. He fails to do so and gets tossed around. Merc beating the hell out of this kid. Drake is screeching in pain. We shun the dissident, as Merc kicks him through the ropes. Drake with a cheap shot on the ropes stuns the champ, he starts to unload. Good flurry but Merc pops him up to a hard kick. McQueen throws a chain in the ring but Drake misses and Merc makes him pay. Kawada kicks and Merc spikes him with an air raid crash variant for the pin. Brutal.

Winner: Merc

We have a promo for the upcoming clash of monsters on 7/4! SLADE vs KRULE! It’s a Deathmatch! 

Match 8: Tank (w/ The Reverend) vs Sawyer Wreck (Doors of Death Match)

We got doors covered in cans, covered in gussets, covered in carpet strips, covered in barbed wire. It’s about to get bloody in Red Bank! Tank goes right through the barbed wire door! Sawyer landing hard kicks before the big man fires back and retrieves a bag of gussets. Wreck starts to decorate Tank with gussets! Tank returns that favor. Trading headbutts as they open their foreheads up. Tank chops a gusset into her chest! Owwwwwww. Tank spears her through the carpet strip door! Tank invites her to trade and she comes in hard! Tank dropped to the ropes and Sawyer blasts a hard kick, Tank bites at her leg! He’s got a chair! We have more furniture at ringside. Tank sets up a bundle of light tubes on a table! Trading on the apron! Tank with a side suplex puts them both through the table and tubes! Sawyer staggering but she chokeslams Tank through the can door! They trade shots in the center! Wreck battering him to the final door, Tank with a backfist and hits a saito through the gusset door to get the pin! Great bit of violence tonight!

Winner: Tank

Main Event: “The Mack of All Trades” AC Mack(c) vs “The Wrestling Genius” Daniel Makabe (for the IWTV World Championship)

Makabe and Mack are 1:1 in high stakes matches, both leading to their respective wins in the 2019 & 2021 Scenic City Invitational tournaments. This is, however, their first one on one encounter. Handshake of respect, and they get to the graps. Dylan Hales points out Mack’s aggressive title defense schedule. Makabe wrestles Mack to the ground and almost leverages an early pinfall. Mack needs a sit down to shake that scare off.  Mack comes in and has to break Makabe apart, but he almost loses it all with a cattle mutilation. Big German folds Mack for two! Makabe gets the butterfly

But Mack out with a double knee! Makabe catches a quick heel hook! Mack shrieks in pain! Makabe tries the fastball punch! Mack baited to the rope, pulled down to a deep crossface but he gets a foot to the rope! Makabe is trying a Mack 10?!? Mack cuts that off, sends Daniel out and dives through the ropes into the chairs! Round the world big boot! Spear for two! The crowd chanting for Mack, Makabe tries an octopus hold, Mack out with a sweep kick for two! Makabe fights out of the Mack 10! He wraps Mack into a number of holds, cattle mutilation is in! Mack is out, Fastball punch to the back of the head! Tiger driver is a REALLY close call for the champ! Daniel going for the Makabe lock, AC trying to roll him up! AC is getting frustrated…but he catches Makabe and tries to choke him out. Double clothesline, double down! They recover and chuckle as they sit up and look at each other. They trade some words and then some punches. Mack backhands him out of the fastball. Stomp to the knee! Makabe stomps the wrist! Quick transition to a choke! Mack hits Mack 10! Makabe rolls to the side and gets a foot to the rope. That was close. Mack takes it up to the top….he wants the Mack 10? Mack dodges a King Kong knee drop! Mack kicks out the knee and wraps up the leg! Makabe can’t go anywhere and is forced to tap out!!!! <chefs kiss>

Winner: AC Mack
