6/3 LVAC REEL RUMBLE NIGHT ONE RESULTS & NOTES FROM MAHONING DRIVE-IN IN LEHIGHTON, PA

Reel Rumble 2022 Night 1 Full Report from Lehighton, PA - Mahoning Drive-In

LVAC Results:

- In Tag Team Action: Ron Voyage & Pancakes with Simon Sutherland vs Kit & Jeff Cannonball.  The debuting Ron Voyage and Pancakes get the win after Simon uses the bubble gun to blind their opponents and set up an easy win. Hard hitting with comedy, good fun match.  

- Clara Carreras vs Abby Jane.  Abby has a ton of charisma, and seems to be a potential future star but is still a bit green. Huge reaction for her. Back and forth match that never seemed to click for me. Abby gets the pin. 

- “World Class” Channing Thomas with Sidney Bakabella vs “World Famous” C.B.  Best match of the fun night. A mix of comedy and technical wrestling. Back and forth action with lots of interference from Sidney Bakabella and Big Dan Champion led to Thomas nailing a piledriver on C.B. for the pin. 

Comissioner Chris Reject came out and teased possibly letting Billy Avery return to LVAC action…if he does everything he’s told tonight and tomorrow he just may get the mystery spot in the 8-Person Tag tomorrow. 

- 8 Person Tag: Gummi Boar, Hydra & Mach 10 vs Kodama, Rex Lawless, Dan Champion & Merlok w Sidney Bakabella.  Fun back and forth match full of high spots and comedy. During the match Chris Reject and Sidney Bakabella were messing with Billy Avery having him pick up trash, get them popcorn, and… the finish came when Billy, to get back in the ring tomorrow, reluctantly distracted the ref allowing Big Dan Champion to nail a kick to the nuts and nail a Tye Breaker for the pin. 

Post match, Sidney Bakabella  brought out Channing Thomas to celebrate and they invited out.  A Very Good, Professional Commentator (Formerly A Very Good, Professional Wrestler) who used to be managed by Sidney and was on commentary having retired from the ring. Sidney was celebrating with them and then the double cross came after Sidney mentioned that they never won with A Very and Thomas hit a piledriver on A Very. Before any more damage could be done, C.B. and Abby hit the ring with chairs to run the heels off.

After a tease, C.B. and Abby vs Channing Thomas and Big Dan Champion is on for tomorrow! 

Great angles and fun action all around! The kind of night that reminded me what make me fall in love with Pro Wrestling in the first place! Can’t wait for the Saturday show, details on that below! 

Following the bouts, on the Mahoning Big Screen featured a Tag Team of Wrestling Movies:

 The Wrestler starring Mickey Rourke and Marisa Tomei, followed by mystery film Grunt: The Wrestling Movie.

The No Hold Barred trailer played before Grunt.
