AEW TO CROWN INTERIM CHAMPION

While Chris Jericho stated CM Punk was relinquishing the AEW Championship, that was not correct.

AEW will have a Battle Royal to open this Wednerday's edition of Dynamite.

The winner of that match will face Jon Moxley, the number one contender, in the main event.

That winner will compete in a match at the Forbidden Door PPV in Chicago to crown the Interim AEW Champion.

The idea is that the interim champion will face CM Punk down the line to determine the undisputed champion.
