It's never too early to start thinking about how you and your family will spend your summer vacation in Ontario. As a result, residents of Ontario may look forward to a long and enjoyable summer season filled with exciting excursions and experiences.

Look no further if you're looking for a way to keep yourself and your loved ones occupied both indoors and out! Listed here are 11 great things to do here in Ontario this summer.

Try Your Luck At a Casino

The Detroit–Windsor area has four casinos, but only Caesars Windsor is located in the city of Windsor. Even if you don't want to gamble, you may still enjoy the waterfront views from the lounge of the casino.

The Roman Empire-themed casino welcomes over six million guests each year. Whether you want to try your luck at the many gaming tables or casino games or put money into one of the many slot machines, there's something for everyone here.

The casino also has a sports bar where you may place bets on sporting events. There are bets placed on any pro sports game, including college basketball and football.

Go To An Art Exhibition

Several of Canada's best art museums are located in Ontario, including the National Gallery of Canada, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and the Royal Ontario Museum, all located in Toronto.

Younger children may prefer going to art exhibits outside, such as the Windsor Sculpture Garden or even the Toronto Sculpture Park, or checking out their digital and online activities while they're locked down. There is a sculpture forest in the Haliburton Mountains area that you can visit, which is self-guided and free!

Hike Or Take A Bike

Even if you're not a huge fan of nighttime exploration, you needn't fear! Outdoors, you'll find a plethora of trails for hiking and riding. There are numerous stunning natural spots in Ontario just waiting to be discovered by nature lovers like you.

Humdinger Bicycle Tours offers guided and self-directed bike rides in the Georgian Bay region, Simcoe, and Haliburton. Whether you're looking for a one-day brewery trip or a multi-day tour, there's a riding experience for you.

Lake Superior Provincial Park and Algonquin Provincial Park are among the must-sees in the region. This is a list of Ontario's favourite parks.

Leisure Cruise

If your children enjoy boating, there are numerous locations where you may take them for a trip on the water. Cruises are also a great way to spend a romantic date night.

There are a number of romance cruises available on the Peerless II in Muskoka, including Sunset Cruises.

Waterways in Ontario are virtually limitless. With no captain or owner duties to worry about, taking a day or nighttime sail lets you take in boating's pure air while still having fun. Depending on the length of the journey, vessels can be large or small.

The Parry Sound-based Island Queen offers a wide choice of entertaining cruises. To go to Henry's Fish Restaurant, you'll need a boat, but they'll also take you to Georgian Bay's Huckleberry Island. To get to these locations, you'll need a boat. It's a great way to start the day for families!

Waterfalls

Ontario is unmatched when it comes to waterfalls. If you haven't already seen Niagara Falls, you should definitely do so.

However, there are many other waterfalls in Canada that people may not have heard of. Rideau Waterfall in Ottawa, Inglis Waterfall in Owen Sound, and Oxtongue Creek Falls Provincial Park are also worth a visit.
