OFF AIR NEWS FROM DYNAMITE AND MORE AEW NEWS AND NOTES

This week's AEW Unrestricted podcast was recorded this past Saturday at the All Elite Wrestling Double or Nothing Fan Fest in Las Vegas.  It features TNT Champion Scorpio Sky, AEW Women's Champion Thunder Rosa and now former AEW World Champion Adam Page.

Scorpio Sky talks about his new TNT Championship, Jeannie, the origins of the Men of the Year, being paired with Dan Lambert, Paige VanZant, his evolution over the last few years, and laying out a challenge to Miro.

Thunder Rosa talks about the origins of her name, face paint, the importance of representation for the Latino community and what the championship means to her.

Adam Page discusses his respect for CM Punk, the harder edge he's had during this story, the origins of "Cowboy Sh––t", the challenges of being a father, tag team wrestling versus singles competition and thoughts on his championship run.

AEW Champion CM Punk's wife AJ Mendez is on the latest episode of The Sessions with Renée Paquette podcast.  AJ discusses working on the all-new WOW, being an Executive Producer for the series, the challenges of doing commentary, working with Jeannie Buss, and what they hope to accomplish with the series.  Mendez discusses what it's like being back into wrestling after such a long time away, what she thinks about the evolution of women's wrestling and her influence on it.  Plus, she discusses what it was like to have a discussion with her husband about his return to wrestling with AEW, the process of writing her New York Times bestseller "Crazy Is My Superpower", how wrestling skills helped her write the screenplay for a reimagined "47 Ronin" and other film and TV projects.  Mendez talks openly about her mental health struggles, her dark days, the decision to step away from wrestling, her physical fitness and more.

Matt Compton sent this item. ... A couple of notes regarding the 06/01 episode of Dynamite:

• There did not seem to be any areas tarped off, besides perhaps the area behind the stage.  There was no large screen above the ramp.  They did have 3 or 4 large screens hung from the rafters/scaffolding around the building.
• What got bleeped from MJF's promo was him calling Tony Khan a f*cking mark.  Also, when CM Punk came down to the ring during the commercial, he was only wearing one boot.
• Also, when Eddie Kingston ran down to attack Chris Jericho, he almost tripped over, I believe, a camera cable. ( https://youtube.com/shorts/w31JAicGwA8 - not my video )
