Matt Cardona announced on SiriusXM's Busted Open radio show that he would be undergoing surgery for his bicep tear this Tuesday:

That would mean there is no way he'll be able to defend the NWA title vs. Nick Aldis on 6/11 at the NWA Alwayz Ready PPV in Knoxville, TN. Cardona made it clear he would still be in attendance at the PPV.
What this means for the status of the NWA Championship remains to be seen.
