NWA Champion Matt Cardona announced the following:
Got a MRI today. Bicep is torn. Surgery needed. Will unfortunately need to cancel some dates.

Matt Cardona suffered the injury catching Blake Christian on a dive during this past Saturday's Game Changer Wrestling event in Las Vegas and immediately flew home to Florida to get the injury diagnosed. Cardona wrestled two matches that evening in Las Vegas, losing the Digital Media Championship to Rich Swann at a Wrestling Revolver event, then wrestling Christian for GCW. Cardona defeated Christian with a rollup after a low blow.
Cardona is scheduled to defend the NWA title against Nick Aldis in the main event of the 6/11 Alwayz Ready PPV (named after Cardona) in Knoxville, TN. The status of that bout is unknown at this time.
