Match 1: Ashton Starr vs Rob Killjoy

It’s been a hot second since I’ve seen the Ugly Duckling in action! He quickly reintroduces himself to my eyeballs by getting the match at a high pace and Starr very off balance in the first exchanges. Ashton finallly with a backbreaker counter. Suplex with a bridge for two! Killjoy tries to dive but Starr gets out of dodge. Starr dumps Killjoy on his head again for two. Trading chops! Killjoy with a air raid crash backbreaker sets up a hot sequence…big moonsault for two! Duck wants to fly but Starr sweeps him off and he cracks his head on the buckle! Starr with a moonsault…kick out! killljoy dodges the axe kick…snake eyes, buckle bomb, spike DVD! Kick out! Starr and Killjoy hit the ropes….Milljoy leapfrogs but Starr appears to headbutt Killjoy in the crotch…the match halts…Starr blasts him with a scissor kick for the pin!

Winner: Ashton Starr

Starr apologizes profusely to an enraged Killjoy and swears the headbutt was an accident. Was it though? Was it?

Tank was supposed to go 1on1 with Beef tonight….but Beef isn’t here…so who faces the Tank?

Match 2:  Tank (w/ The Reverend) vs “Space Jesus” Billie Starkz

The Reverend screams to bring forth the sacrifice. An energetic Starkz called Tank out this afternoon on Twitter. Starkz fights for the arm and leg but Tank just overpowers her and refuses to move. Tank tries to laugh at her and Billie unloads with some loud slaps to the face. Tank with a headbutt and huge chops. She woke up the beast. Tank chokes her on the bottom rope. Billie winding up and throwing the biggest hands she can…Tank with a whip off and lariat. Headbutt crumbles her for two. She’s still throwing and Tank staggers…she tries a German but…no Billie, just no. She unloads a huge flurry of strikes that back Tank into the corner. Tank collapses! Billie to the top but Tank shakes the rope and she jacks up her hamstring on the second rope. Tank puts her in a half crab but she crawls out of the ring. Tank gives chase…Billie still throwing hands, head kick, dive! Tank retreats into the ring, another head kick, lariat to the back of the head! Billie to the top, swanton bomb connects! Tank is out! Another superkick! Another swanton! Tank kicks out and is right to his feet! Tank throws hands but Billie firing right back. Tank lands a backfist and a saito! Billie kicks out! Tank hits a chokebreaker and another saito and space Jesus is done for this week. Holy hell, this was a bigger fight than I think anyone expected.

Winner: Tank

Tank gets the mic and reminds everyone that Billie Starkz has done more in wrestling before she was out of high school than some of the folks in the back. Huge vote of respect from the Bloodbath Behemoth.

Match 3: Lobo Okami vs Alex Kane

Hales makes a point of mentioning that Okami comes heavily recommended after some of the waves he’s been making in Paradigm Pro. Kane comes in and tries to overpower Lobo but he keeps getting shoved off. Kane finally hits a belly to back but Lobo pops up with a uranage. Flying forearm from Kane! Trading heavy strikes! Ripcord forearm into a spine buster! Kane is not looking good right now. Lobo with a flying headbutt! Kane barely kicks out! He goes for a Vader bomb but Kane Germans him off the second. Kane stacks him up for the win! Lobo looked great here in this debut and Kane was given a crazy storm to weather.

Winner: Alex Kane

Match 4: The Last Laugh (Nick Iggy & Wrestling’s Cutest Couple (Kenzie Paige & Hunter Drake)) vs Jaden Newman, M*E*R*C & Brett Ison

What a team that Newman has assembled tonight! Ison runs everyone off as he enters so Team TWE can own the ring. Merc calls Laugh Laugh dissidents and the crowd SHUNS them! Even Ison plays along!

Laugh Laugh comes running….and eats feet. Whoops. Huge slam and kick to Drake from el generalissimo. Newman in, pop up into a Merc kick! Jaden goes for the Hangman’s clutch! Kenzie in to save her man but Ison almost powerbombs her. Iggy runs for cover! Dives to the outside! Ison crucifix bombs Drake to the outside on everyone!

Drake jacks the jaw of Merc and Iggy tags in. Last laugh working to stomp the TWE out in the corner. Triple teams abound as the ref can’t seem to focus on the action that’s happening. Merc fights out, uranage to Iggy! Tag to Newman! Jaden beats the crap out of Hunter. Jaden kicks off the opposing corner and hits a tornado ddt for two. It’s Pitbull time. He tries a powebomb but Drake rana’s him. Stereo superkicks and a cutter! Drake and Kenzie almost get the pin on Ison! Ison slaps the life out of Drake and gets Newman in there. Drake wrapped in a trailer hitch. It’s a triple submission but Iggy kicks off the rope and sends Ison into the pile. Ison backfists Drake! Jaden and Ison try to sandwich Drake but Kenzie saves Drake, Ison wipes out Jaden. Iggy ejects Ison and Drake rolls up a limp Newman with legs on the ropes for the win!

Winners: The Last Laugh

Newman is FURIOUS at Ison at how this went down. Merc talks them down but there’s a collision coming.

“Natty Daddy” Bradley Prescott IV (BPIV) is here. The title card literally says “we don’t know why he’s here”. He was told if he shows up and gets over, he’ll keep coming back. He’s got a case of Natty Light. He has a deck of playing cards since he heard that IWTV’s Gerry likes magic tricks. He gets a random fan from the audience who is definitely Erron Wade. They go through some magic stuff but music hits. Erron Wade runs for the hills because HE recognizes Krule’s music. Brad does not. Krule hits a reverses chokeslam and a kick to the back of the head. Headlock facebuster and Krule walks off.

Match 5: Ron Bass Jr vs “Acegawd” Arik Royal

I am down for this hoss fight. Big lockup but these big dudes don’t budge. RBJr gets the arm and tries to work that limb early but Acegawd switching the position. They collide in a shoulder block and resort to just punching each other. Bass sent to the floor and Ace comes off the apron and crumbles him. Royal tries a chop but hits the post, bass with a slam to the apron! Trading hard chops and uppercuts! Nobody home on the body splash, Bass landing big corner clotheslines! Boss man slam to Royal for two! Arik battles back, huge lariat cuts that off but Royal shrieks and rages up at one. Arik can’t clothesline him down but a second shot does the trick! Bass kicks out again! Powerslam from Acegawd! Strap is down! Arik off the corner and drops a staggered Bass with Kobe for the win!

Winner: Arik Royal

We go backstage to see John Wayne Murdoch looking through a pile of plunder for his upcoming Tennessee street fight with Adam Priest.

Match 6: Calvin Tankman vs Joe Black

Here’s another match that should slap, figuratively and literally. This card has been stacked all night! Right to the hard loud chest chops! Tankman with a knee to the body but Joe hits a forearm. He braces but Calvin hits a pounce that sends him out of the ring! More hard chops on the floor! Tankman with a headbutt and apron powerbomb! Joe is hurting and Tankman is walking him down.  Joe throwing chops and forearms from the pocket but Tankman won’t let himself get suplexed. Joe eats more shots but is able to block another powerbomb. Big Cal with a headlock takedown. He just steps on his lower back “That apron didn’t feel good, did it?”. Tankman talking trash and Joe is still throwing heavy hands. Huge flying whip to the corner! Joe with a slap hurts his own hand and Tankman slams him. Joe rages back up! He drops Tankman with a saito! Tankman rolls out, he tries to drop Joe on the apron but Black rock bottoms him in the apron. Big top rope senton! Huge impact to the head! Tankman still kicks out! Cal blocks the lariat, big backfist and he lands the Tankman Driver! Joe Black kicks out!  Backfist and a powerbomb! Joe Black kicks out! Joe with a German! Kick out! Tankman is staggered on his knees and Joe Black crumbles him with a forearm to the back of the head! The ref hesitates on the count, maybe Tankman twitched but he’s VERY down and out. This match was fantastic. Loved the f*** out of this one.

Winner: Joe Black

It’s time for the Discovery Gauntlet! You gotta win it to stay in it! Can Sir Knight keep his streak alive?

Match 7: Merrick Donovan vs Damion Turner

Turner says he’s going to win his spot in the Gauntlet in record time. He charges Donovan, Sir Knight blasts him with a forearm. Donovan is going to the finish but he stops…Suge D is here, uh oh…. He faces off with Donovan. He looks Donovan in the eye and slaps Damion Turner hard. Merrick looks horrified as the ref is forced to ring the bell and award the match to Turner by DQ.

Winner: Damion…Turner?!?

Donovan is furious and comes at Suge…who wraps his scarf around Donovan’s throat and puts him to sleep. “Do you think I enjoy doing these things?” He says that Donovan didn’t listen to his warnings. What’s the lesson he should learn? It doesn’t matter if you do everything right…someone can’t just take things away on a whim if they feel like it. Like he just did to Merrick. Hales and the crowd boo and jeer Suge D mercilessly as he staples guns him in the head. The locker room empties to run Suge off finally.

Turner demands an interview segment where he calls this the easiest win of his career. The crowd hates him too. Good. Dylan Hales says this Suge situation is too much and he won’t be here next week come hell or high water. I, for one, love this version of Suge that we never see up here ever.

Match 8: Kevin Ku vs Anthony Henry

Our co-main could easily be for a championship, I love how their former

Tag team rivalry is turning into a budding singles rivalry. Commentary makes a point to note Ku’s aggressive schedule this weekend could play a factor here. The early going is a grappling chess match where they have each other in competing ankle locks. Ku shows those Muscles and locks up the legs and neck of Henry. Henry  out, Ku dropped and twists the neck. Henry surfboards him into a dragon sleeper! Huge kick to the spine! Henry knows Ku’s leg is bothering him and hits a double dragon screw! Lock up the legs and applying pressure to the legs and knees. Bridge back and Ku is hurting bad but close enough to get the ropes. Henry lands a LOUD chest kick, Ku asks for more but Henry drags him down to a sharpshooter! Ku struggles to the rope

But Henry is holding these subs as long as possible. Ku trapped in an ankle lock, sleeper…he escapes with an Olympic slam! Choo choo clothesline! Big slam out of the corner into a kimura! Henry right to the ropes! Henry tries and armbar but Ku rolls him up. Struggling back to their feet, Ku charges but his leg gives out. Henry with double knees and a cannonball! He calls out for his tag partner JD Drake before hitting a Drill Bit for two! He butterflies the arms and but Ku makes the rope with his legs. Ku escapes the Gotch piledriver! German back into a armbar! They counter and reverse each other wildly! Henry goes for a border city stretch but Ku rolls up the submission again and gets the three! What a banger!

Winner: Kevin Ku

Main Event: Adam Priest vs John Wayne Murdoch (Tennessee Street Fight)

Where is Adam Priest? He doesn’t come through the curtain….JWM is here though and the crowd is here for the Duke…Priest ambushes him from behind. Priest and Murdoch fight into the foyer, Murdoch grabs a knife from his gimmick table and carves into priest’s forehead! Priest thrown into the hard wood chairs of the TWE arena. He slashes the back and carves into a bloodied Adam again. He has fans hold Priest while he carves on him more. This is gross! He’s got a tennis racket covered in gussets. Oh nooooo Priest pulls the ref into the way. He attacks Murdoch and blasts him with that rackets into both arms. Murdoch is immediately a bloody mess. Gusset to the forehead! Murdoch and Priest fighting in the crowd. Murdoch tries to choke him out with a belt and lashes his back with it. Priest drives JWM’s shoulder to the buckles! Adam has to kick out after he is crushed with a rewind lariat! German toss from Priest! Kick out! Bag of tacks time. The Duke sweeps Priest off the ropes into the tacks. Kick out! Priest tries to leave the venue but  JWM grabs a cameraman and chases him to the back lot. There’s people playing cards in the back lot and they seem unfazed by this. They are fighting onto a trailer! Suplex on the metal roof! Murdoch says he’s putting Priest through that table down below. The card game clears! Priest hits Murdoch with a bag of powder and throws him off the roof through the table (which is on asphalt). ROUGH landing! Ow. Priest comes down to make the pin but the Duke kicks out! JWM is back up and stalking Priest back into the venue. He has a light tube bundle! Priest begs for mercy! Adam Priest  dodges, low blows him and hits a DDT into the light tubes! Murdoch is down for the three and Adam Priest picks up a wild and bloody unexpected win in our main event! Wow!

Winner: Adam Priest
