NWA Champion Matt Cardona suffered an arm injury catching Blake Christian on a dive during tonight's Game Changer Wrestling event in Las Vegas.
The fear is that Cardona may have suffered some sort of bicep tear. He has canceled a planned appearance to promote an NFT release and is flying home to Florida to get his injury diagnosed.
Cardona wrestled two matches this evening in Las Vegas, losing the Digital Media Championship to Rich Swann at a Wrestling Revolver event, then wrestling Christian for GCW. Cardona defeated Christian with a rollup after a low blow.
Cardona is scheduled to defend the NWA title against Nick Aldis in the main event of the 6/11 Alwayz Ready PPV (named after Cardona) in Knoxville, TN.
