WWE Star Bayley is getting ready to make her comeback to make a comeback. The 2019 Women’s Money in the Bank teased her return on Twitter, announcing: “I’m like…. excited for myself. Ready to see what 2022 is like”. Bayley went down with a torn ACL while training and there were bets going on sports betting sites and casino sin licencia as to when she would be back.
It hasn’t been an easy way back. The 32 year old had to undergo surgery so the damaged ligament could be repaired and she had to be replaced for the 2021 Money In The Bank. It was estimated at the time that it would take over nine months to complete the recovery. The road back from an ACL injury is often long and doctors often advise caution over quicker timelines. The reason is simple, if taken lightly, the tear can get worse in a number of different ways, and even limit a person’s capacity to perform light exercise or even walk
It’s clear that Bayley’s medics have recommended such patience with the treatment. However, she hasn’t been that quiet in her social channels. Throughout her period on the sidelines, Bayley remained active on social media. Just the week prior, Bayley took to Twitter to criticize the fans who where exasperated at the delay for her return, with Bayley writing “Woke up from a nap to see that you idiots still don’t know understand injuries work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s called ReCoVeRy!!!!!!!! ReHaB!!!!!! Re-MoDeL!!!!!!!!!!! Have some ReSpEcT!”.
This hasn’t been the first time the WWE star teases a possible return. Back in March, Bayley posted a video on her Instagram, with Lil Wayne’s “Fly In” sounding and her looking straight ahead. Then, Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that Bayley was closing in on her return, ahead of the Royal Rumble, and Elimination Chamber events. She also talked about the matter on a Q&A on her Instagram: “My knee is doing great, my ankle is doing great, my calf is doing great, my shin is doing great, my hip is doing great. My mind is doing great. So it’s only a matter of time. I’m not going to tell you when and I don’t want all these idiots watching to know when. But I’m going to be coming back soon, maybe, no. Y’all better be ready, better be ready.”
Later, in April, she once again teased fans, claiming she had just “woke up from a nap, and a few days later claiming she wanted to fight Candice LeRae when she was back. A week later, it was NXT fighter Indi Hartwell who was on her sights, with Bayley claiming “She knows why. Someone book it”. Others report that it would be the lack of a clear rival for Ronda Rousey that brings Bayley back into the scene.
As for how her return would go, many hypothesize that it will be as a baby face and fan favorite, as several stars have done after long periods of absence. If she manages to build enough momentum there's every chance she will be able to chase the title, provided there’s enough good will and fan support to carry her forward.
