Samoa Joe vs.The Joker: Johnny Elite! In an Owen Hart Foundation Tournament match
Guess he’s no longer Johnny Drip Drip. Must have gone to the doctor to get that cleared up.
Johnny goes for an elbow strike instead of a tie up, and Joe takes over almost immediately with a power based take down. Johnny then reverses and takes Joe down and into the ropes. Johnny hits a kick instead of tying up, and Joe responds with kicks and well, and then they trade blows in the corners and against the ropes. Joe wins the exchange knocking Johnny to the mat.
Joe then knocks Johnny down with a kick and keeps Johnny down with a neck hold. Johnny escapes with a kick and then Johnny takes Joe down with kicks and holds him with a front face lock. Joe works his way up and they run the ropes. Johnny takes Joe down with a clothesline, and when Joe goes to the outside, Johnny leaps onto him and we go to picture in picture.
So far, the match has been a bit clumsy, with both men having to wait a bit for the other to get up and ready to take the next blow, and it gives the match a stutter step quality.
When we return to full screen, Joe clothesline Johnny into oblivion. Joe hits a series of kicks and a senton for a two count. Johnny recovers, hits body shots and then fails to pick Joe up. Joe then hits a chop that drops Johnny for a two count. Joe puts Johnny up on top and goes for the muscle buster. Johnny escapes, is able to get Joe up for a drop, and then goes for a 450 and a two count. Johnny then kicks Joe and goes up again, this time for Starship pain.
Joe gets his knees up, and then Joe is able to set up for the muscle buster and the three count.,
Winner: Samoa Joe
After the match, Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, and Sonjay Dutt attack Joe and beat him down. Trent Beretta, Chuck Taylor and Rocky Romero come out for the save with steel chairs.
In the back, Lexie is with the Hardy, and Jeff has been cleared for tonight. The Young Bucks show up and go over their concerns, and if they don’t take the night off, Adam Cole will kick his ass tonight. Matt then calls them Hardy cosplayers and lets them know if they try to interfere, Adam Cole won’t be the only one getting his ass whipped.
CM Punk comes out to join the commentary table.
Konosuke Takeshida vs Adam Page (AEW Champion)
Takeshida comes out with a kick to Page and they start trading blows. The brawl goes to apron, and Page leaps onto Takeshida on the floor. Takeshida makes it back in the ring and then does what seems like a Cartwheel on the top rope onto Page. They go to the ring and fight in the corner. They move to fight on the apron, and Page is finally able to slam Takeshida on the apron. He follows up with a moonsault off the top to the floor onto Takeshida as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, they are running the roeps and Takeshida hits a diving spear and then hits a blue thunder bomb for a two count. As Page rolls to the floor, Takeshida hits a tope onto him. They both go to the ring and trade Helloova kicks in the corners. They trade German suplexes and then give simultaneous clotheslines in the middle of the ring. When they recover, they throw hands in the middle of the ring.
Page is able to get a tombstone piledriver for a two count. They trade blows again and Takeshida hits a power bomb for a two count. Then a knee strike for a two count. Takeshida is getting a great showcase here. Takeshida gets a stalling German Suplex and can't cover. He is holding his neck. They get up and trade more blows and Page gets a rolling elbow strike when Takeshida goes for a flying elbow.
Page keeps looking at Punk when Takeshida is down. Page puts Takeshida on the top. They come off the top and Page is able to hit the buckshot lariat. Page then hits a GTS and covers for the three count.

Fuego Del Sol has a video that he and Dark Order will take on the House of Black.
Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee vs Anthony Henry and JD Drake, the Workhorsemen
Workhorsemen are already in the ring as we start. Never a good sign.
Two minutes later, Swerve and Lee hits their new finishing move whenre Lee holds Hunry up and Swerve hits a stomp from the top.
Winner: Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee
Lee takes the mic and lets us know they are a top 5 tag team, which brings out Team Taz. They say they don’t deserve a shot at the tag team titles. They start jacking jaws and that brings out Jurassic Express. Christian Cage does the talking for them. He challenges them in a three way for the titles at Double or Nothing. He then says that Jungle Boy will take on Swerve Strickland and Ricky Starks next week.
In the back, Tony si with Kris Statlander and Red Velvet. Red says things are different now. Kris says they’ve both changed and there is nothing personal between them. Jade Cargill says that Red Velvet pretended to be Kris’s friend.
MJF then comes out for the10 lashes on Wardlow. He then mocks Houston. He then reminds Wardlow that if he retaliates tonight, he doesn’t get the match and his contract.
Wardlow then comes in handcuffs, with security and a huge crowd reaction.
MJF spits on Wardlow and Wardlow doesn’t react. MJF hits Wardlow twice and Wardlow doesn’t flinch. MJF takes off his dress shirt and goes after Wardlow and hits a few strikes, still no reaction. MJF gives the belt to Shawn Spears for #8 and then #9 gets a reaction from Wardlow. MJF takes the belt back for the last strike. Instead, MJF gives Wardlow with a low blow, and the ref is run out of the ring as MJF starts whipping and then choking Wardlow. MJF puts on the ring and nails Wardlow.
Kind of shocked the Excalibur didn’t do the “Rat in the Kitchen” promo when MJF comes out like he normally does. Spears hits a C4 and MJF counts three. MJF keeps yelling at him as we go to commercial.
In the back, Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero say Roppongi Vice are back together, and they are going after the ROH tag team titles.
Kyle O’Reilly vs Rey Fenix in an Owen Hart Foundation Tournament match
Klye takes Rey downb first and when they are up, they run the ropes. Rey takes Kykle down with a cross armbreaker and a two count. They then trade strikes in the middle of the ring. Kyle keeps going for arm bars and Rey keeps fighting his way free. Kyle is kicked to the outside and Rey leaps, driving him into the barricade.
When they return to the ring, they trade holds until Rey gets a rope break. Rey’s arm is hurt and they go the outside where Kyle keeps attacking the arm as we go picture in picture.
Anyone else notice the guy in the Scooby Doo costume who is getting a ton a camera time?
When they return to full screen, Rey and Kyle are trading blows in the middle of the ring, then move to kicks. Kyle tosses Rey into the ropes and Rey’s arm won’t let him do the hook kick. They move to the ring and Rey is able to hit a reverse power bomb for a two count. Rey gets a Hurricanrana for a two count. After trading blows, Kyle gets a pair of doubel underhook suplexes.
