Jim Ross announced on the latest edition of his Grillin' JR podcast with Conrad Thompson has he has signed an extension with AEW that extends his deal with the company as lead announcer for an additional 12-18 months.
While there is no known timetable on his potential return to the ring, Kenny Omega has been back at AEW TV tapings the last several weeks working behind the scenes, including producing some of the women's division matches, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
AEW will be running a live Dynamite and Rampage taping on Wednesday 7/27 in Worcester, MA at the DCU Center, which is the promotion's debut in that city. There will be an online pre-sale tomorrow Thursday 5/19 at Ticketmaster.com using code MASSAEW23 at 10 AM EST through 10 PM EST. The official on sale will be this Friday AM 5/20 at 10 AM EST.
