They went to X-Division Champion Ace Austin in Tokyo, Japan. He mockingly congratulated Bailey for qualifying. He said Bailey has yet to pay for the consequences of what he did to Austin. He chose to be selfish and now he has to learn the same hard lesson Trey Miguel learned - the X-Division is his and history is written by him. As long as he's in Impact, that will never change. Now, he's making history as the first-ever X-Division Champion to compete in New Japan's Best of Super Junior. After a triumphant first tour of New Japan, he's going straight to Nashville to win his first Ultimate X.

Sabin said Impact has been here for 20 years and he can't think of a better way to celebrate than to issue a challenge. He requested Frankie Kazarian to face him next week in the battle of the futures, now.
They showed old footage of Kazarian vs. Sabin.
Eric Young discussed being in attendance for Ricky Steamboat vs. Randy Savage at Wrestlemania III as a child and how it inspired him to want to be a professional wrestler. He begins his career as an independent wrestler and later signs a four date contract with Impact. He started with Team Impact being slapped around. He's scared, paranoid, worried about being fired and not making money. He takes that and he runs with it and ran with everything that was presented to him. He's worked for people who wanted him here and wanted him gone. He worked for a crazy old man who discarded him like a piece of garbage and that brings him to his purest self, the real Eric Young. This was absolutely awesome.
Impact Wrestling Champion Josh Alexander was interviewed Gia Miller. He said that he doesn't have to respect Eric but he has to respect what he's done. Eric has done it all. Slammiversary is the kickoff point for the next 20 years and the question is who ushers in that new era. He tells Young that he's not giving the title easy, so if he intends to take it, he better bring the fight of his life.

Morrisey showed up and asked who said he's by himself. Gujjar seemed surprised. Shera said they'll fight next week. They left. Gujjar said that Morrisey doesn't have to do this and he can do it himself. Morrisey said that there's no shame in taking help from someone offering. They agreed to do it next week.
