1904 - Frank Gotch defeats Tom Jenkins in Bellingham, Washington to win the American Heavyweight Title, ending Jenkins' second reign with the belt.
1996 - ECW ran in the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a show headlined by Raven winning his first ECW World Heavyweight Championship, ending the Sandman's third title reign. Here are the full results of the show:
- Hack Myers defeated Mr. Hughes with a rollup.
- Judge Dread defeated The Blue Meanie.
- Dances with Dudley & Buh Buh Ray Dudley defeated JT Smith & Axl Rotten when Buh Buh pinned Smith. Axl and JT argued before the match, as JT kept interrupting Buh Buh Ray as he tried to say his name, and Axl told JT to let him speak. JT hit Axl with the microphone, and Buh Buh powerbombed JT for a quick win.
- The Headhunters defeated The Bad Crew via pinfall.
- ECW World Television Champion 2 Cold Scorpio defeated El Puerto Ricano. It was supposed to be Scorpio vs. Jimmy Del Rey, but Del Rey was injured, coming to the ring with a sling on and claiming he was beaten up by a hundred men in Syracuse (a play on Shawn Michaels being beat up in Syracuse).
- The Gangstas defeated The Pitbulls when Pitbull #2 was pinned. After the match, Stevie Richards superkicked Francine.
- Sabu defeated Rob Van Dam via disqualification when El Puerto Ricano interfered and Sabu's long-time handler, 911, turned on him and chokeslammed Sabu. This was supposed to set up a Sabu-911 match, but 911 left the company after this show.
- ECW World Tag Team Champions Cactus Jack & Mikey Whipwreck beat Shane Douglas & Tommy Dreamer when Cactus pinned Douglas after a drop toe hold into a chair. Cactus, doing the "I'm Hardcore" gimmick, wore a "WWF'NF" shirt for the match.
- Raven defeated The Sandman to win the ECW World Heavyweight Title with a DDT on a chair. After the match, Sandman's manager Woman (who was heading to WCW) said that Sandman losing the title was a good thing, because now he could "come with her". Sandman refused, and 2 Cold Scorpio entered the ring, playing up that he might go with Woman. Sandman asked him to choose, and Scorpio decided to stay with the Sandman in ECW. Scorpio then put Woman over his shoulder and walked her out of the building before returning to the ring for a beer celebration with the Sandman.
2001 - Carlos Colon defeated One Man Gang in Carolina, Puerto Rico to win the WWC Hardcore Title.
