Southeast First Uncharted Territory “Season 4, Episode 2”

We open hot as Erron Wade is out here with ACTION CEO Matt Griffin to issue a surprise Baby Dragon Open Challenge! Krule hits the ring and destroys them both! Wade bombs to the support post and the apron. He grabs a cinder block…plants Griffin with a headlock facebuster. He drops the block next to his head…it says “SLADE 7/4/22”! Krule is calling his shot against the madman from Rikers island. Krule puts an exclamation point on this statement by chokeslamming a bloodied Griffin before walking off. What a way to open this one. We start the show proper! Dylan Hales & Jumpin’ Johnny Mosely are on commentary. Scott Hensley is your announcer. Let’s goooooo!

Match 1: The Skulk (Adrian Alanis & Liam Gray) vs Air BnB (Bobby Flaco & Brogan Finlay)

The Skulk do their damndest to antagonize the crowd before they pop hard for the boys of AirBnB. Liam Gray holding his own in the opening sequences but quickly gets overwhelmed by the very good tag work of Brogan and Bobby. Alanis in and Brogan gets caught with a flurry and slam to the apron. Bobby tries to sneak a cradle in but Adrian cuts him in half. Bobby sent into the metal of the buckles and out to the front row. Atomic drop into a dropkick to Flaco for two. Brogan in hot, cleans house. Suplex, cutter, stacks in the corner, double corner dropkick! Elbow drop to Adrian…kick out! Brogan comes running and over the top. Gray with a ridiculous dive to the floor. AirBnb setting up for the finish but Bobby wipes out Brogan with a miscommunicated dropkick. The Skulk with a backbreaker combo and pop up ddt to Flaco finishes this emphatically.

Winners: The Skulk

Backstage, we see Tank taping his fists for tonight’s main event. The Reverend offers him a weapon…but Tank declines?!?

Match 2: David Ali vs “Number One” Jaden Newman

David Ali is looking for a hallelujah as he claims to be everyone’s savior. Newman giving the crowd what they want, and that is a beatdown of Ali. Newman eats with a hotshot. Butterfly suplex! Huge Michanoku driver! Newman kicks out but he’s deep in trouble from that flurry. Newman gets the leg and almost gets the hangman’s clutch…Ali escapes! Huge slap from Newman. They get to trading. Big lariat from Newman! Ali catches Newman out of a tornado ddt and muscles him up for a jackhammer! Jaden throwing hard slaps from the bottom but Ali is trying to keep him there. Big German, chest kick for two! Ali goes for his barbed wire baseball bat, the ref takes it. Ali looks like he’s coming in for a cheap shot on Newman but gets taken down right into the Hangman’s clutch and is forced to tap out immediately!

Winner: Jaden Newman

Match 3: Adam Priest vs Owen Knight

This crowd boos Priest mercilessly, as is right and proper. Knight starts fast but Priest grabs a headlock and won’t let go. Owen escapes but just gets walked over by a confident Priest. Owen fakes him out and makes him eat a hard slap. Adam is upset, eats a dropkick to the side of the head, sunset flip for two! Priest fakes Knight to the outside, whips to the wall and apron. Double stomp to the face grinding Knight out. Owen speeding up again but Priest blasts a huge dropkick again. Knight with a crossbody to the ropes. Priest rolls up out of a fireman’s carry. Double throat chop lays Owen out. Priest takes out the leg, Knight hits a back suplex, superkicks…he keeps trying for the fireman’s carry but Priest slips it, hits a ddt for the win!

Winner: Adam Priest

We get a segment with Marcus Mathers being accosted by Matt Makowski. Makowski returns the IWTV 100 briefcase to Mathers and tells him to bring the belt back to the Northeast…and when he’s healed up, he’s challenging for it.

Match 4: “The Kings Road Slayer” Derek Neal vs Ashton Starr

Neal is well hated at TWE, Ashton significantly less so. Neal immediately gutwrench slams Starr right out of the gate. Neal throwing big arms but Starr is arm dragging and going for quick pin attempts. Neal drops Starr and clips the top of his head with a jumping elbow. Commence beatdown. Great northern lights for two. Neal hits a high velocity corner dropkick, suplex for two. Starr is in huge trouble. Ashton with a rollup but pops back up into an axe handle smash. Kneedrop for two. Starr tries to go toe to toe with Neal on Chops but he just gets tenderized into the corner. Starr fights off a deep sleeper. Neal thrown to the floor…Starr firing up with the crowd…crossbody to the corner…Neal catches him into a huge uranage for two! Starr escapes the dude buster. Neal wipes out on a cannonball. Crossbody to the corner and a dive can’t put the big man away. Neal dodges the scissor kick, backfist, dude buster! Starr is done!

Winner: Derek Neal

It’s time for the Discovery Gauntlet! You gotta win it to stay in it! Merrik Donovan comes in to defend his spot against….

Match 5: “Sir Knight” Merrik Donovan vs “The Million Dollar Mullet” Zach Moseley 

Zach in Merrik’s face early but Donovan shows his power. Big shoulder block, powerslam, senton for two. Moseley with a hard shot but Donovan clubs him out of the ring with a hook shot. Moseley traps the arm and tries to sub him, biting the fingers. Merrik trying to pick him up but Moseley is biting again. Donovan blasts him with a powerbomb. Donovan with a big lariat & a spine buster! Big toss for two! Mosely fights off a German, skull crushing finale for two! Donovan crumbles with a stiff knee. Zach misses a moonsault, Donovan with a backfist and sinks in a reverse dragon sleeper to get the win! Huzzah!

Winner: Merrik Donovan

Scott Hensley is about to have another interview with Merrik…but Suge D comes in on the video screen. He talks about how much he worries for Donovan for WHEN he falls. He wished Merrik had listened to him but he wants to do things the hard way? Merrik says no one will stop him from going all 13 weeks victorious and Suge will be the one to fall. I do love this version of Suge D and Merrik Donovan has been a newer favorite of mine. This is setting up great.

Match 6: Kenzie Page & Hunter Drake vs Shazza McKenzie & Heather Monroe

Scott Hensley refers to Page & Drake as Wrestling’s Cutest Couple. Shazza is looking to slap the cute off this pair after last week’s bs. Shazza wants a piece but Kenzie runs to the ropes to tag her “big strong boyfriend”. Shazza and Monroe beat the heck out of Drake through multiple tags and combo moves. Drake getting chopped up, kicked, suplexed, and otherwise beaten on until he takes Monroe’s eyes and tags Kenzie back in. Monroe taking the heat, Drake taking shots from the outside every time the ref is distracted. Kenzie and Hunter get into a argument as they are unable to suplex Monroe. Heather uses that to fight off, tag to Shazza! McKenzie dropping people in their domes. Kicks to the cute couple as they are stuck in the ropes! Crossbody to Page for two! Drake with a distraction, Kenzie with a superkick…Shazza kicks out!   Shazza drops Drake into Kenzie trapped in a straight jacket backstabber. Drake sends Shazza to the post, Kenzie rolls up Monroe and grabs the tights for the three!

Winners: Kenzie & Hunter

We get a promo from R.A.L.P.H., who won the Masked Wrestler season 2 tournament. Next week, we find out who he is?!? Adam Priest is out here to join the commentary team for this next matchup.

Match 7: Kevin Ku(c) vs Cole Radrick (for the ACTION Wrestling Championship)

This was originally a non-title match but Ku likes to be a fighting champion and makes this a championship match after all! These two are enjoying these early minutes of verbal sparring, rolling and grappling. Ku and Cole go counter for counter, hold for hold. They trade heavy forearms, Cole with a trio and legdrop for two! Cole getting the better of the champ and his smile disappears after a spine kick. Ku pops up and lands some heavy chops and kicks. Cole snags a cross face but Ku to the ropes. Hard kicks to the kidneys of Radrick. Ku grapevines the legs and does his muscle pose before he pulls Radrick back into pain. Cole throwing hard slaps, Ku with a pump kick. Cole with a skull crushing finale! Moonsault for two! Ku with a head kick and angle slam for two! Cole grabs a guillotine but slammed to the buckles. Cole with a flash wheel kick! Trading fast hard chest chops! Back and forth, Cole with a springboard stunner for two! Cole grabs the wrist and pulls Ku into a series of punches. Ku hits an axe kick and brain buster…ONE COUNT! Cole is up! Huge knee from the champ! Doctor Bomb to the knees from Ku and Cole stays down! This was great.

Winner: Kevin Ku

Adam Priest is none to happy that he doesn’t have a match graphic for next week but John Wayne Murdoch does…Dylan Hales makes that a match for next week! But now, it’s main event time!

Main Event: Tank (w/ The Reverend) vs Tony Deppen 

Tony Deppen cannot stop yelling at Papa Hales or the crowd or any one. Tank playing head games on an already unbalanced Deppen. Tony takes a leg but Tank grabs a body scissor. Deppen annoys Tank enough to get him to grab a chair. Deppen wants nothing to do with it. He makes fun of Tank, asking if he knows how to lock up and wrestle. Tank gets an arm wringer and chops Deppen down. Tony tries an arm drag but Tank send him flying to the floor. Tank holds Deppen and Papa Hales gets a few shots in. Tank accidentally chops the post and Tony targets that limb hard. Tank throwing chops but he’s hurting himself. Deppen hits a flurry of elbows to the side of the head, Tank is staggering hard. Kick to the side of the head, Tank kicks out! Deppen throwing shots into Tank but it might be hurting to land hits on that wall of a man. Deppen misses running knee, tank with a back drop, body slam! Tank throwing hands but he’s hurting. Deppen with knees to the corner but Tank doesn’t stay down. Deppen misses a double stomp. Tank blasts a backfist! Two count! Deppen trips him into the corner, Knee to the head, codebreaker for two! Rev firing the crowd up for his behemoth. Tank hits a saito! Kick out! Trading shots! Deppen almost wipes out the ref, he low blows Tank from behind. Top rope double stomp and a pair of superkicks put the Tank down for the three count!

Winner: Tony Deppen
