While AEW was setting up to tape AEW Rampage at the UBS Arena, AEW President Tony Khan came out to address the audience in Long Island and noted that AEW would see them "in a few months for AEW Grand Slam", officially announcing that the promotion would return to the site of the U.S. Open, Arthur Ashe Stadium in NYC.
Khan did not announce a date, but one would think it would be this Fall.
The first Grand Slam event, AEW's NYC debut, was a turnaway sellout and AEW's biggest crowd to date.
