Mean Gene introduces a montage of wrestling vignettes. Sgt Slaughter has cut up and barbecued his snake. Macho Man & Elizabeth bully a man at the beach. Andre & Big John Studd argue over a parking space and after a cut we see Studd’s truck drive off a cliff.

Rocky is upset after a call from Vince telling him he sees him as a tag wrestlers only.

Little Dewey finding out numerous girls at his elementary school are interested in him. Julian is upset one of the girls he likes is into Dewey furthering their issues.

Lia and Ata hear some heckling and go out on the balcony to see Greg Yao. He has been sequestered in an apartment across the way. He taunts Lia saying he’s going to take all her wrestlers when she’s in prison.

At the arena, we see George “The Animal” Steele and Roddy Piper double teaming Tony Atlas. A bloody Rocky abandons him and leaves the cage match.

Flashback to the night before where The Johnsons are having dinner with Tony. Atlas is encouraging Dewey to eat some cake. Rocky objects and says wrestlers need to have standards or they get sloppy.

The Rock continues to tell the story while he and Randall eat tons of sushi and then German chocolate cake.

Cut to Andre at a hotel bar and Greg Yao is there trying got recruit him.

In the courtroom, Greg Yao shows up a half hour late without pants on totally hammered from being out with Andre. Lia’s attorney gets Yao to confess to his crazy night out with The Big Man (we get a Hangover style scene of partying). Andre has set him up to be a terrible character witness as he’s also gotten a tattoo that says “I love drugs."

Lia is found not guilty. She gives a press conference and tells the FBI agents to kill themselves and take off her ankle monitor. The Rock says they knew wrestlers have impulse control issues and a night out with Andre would do him in. The FBI agent vows to get her on something else.

Pat Patterson & Mean Gene are introducing the big event at Aloha Stadium “The Backyard Brawl-be-cue”.

Lia is able to get back to work and enters the locker room to cheers. She says she spoke to Vince and he’s working on the plan for his own big event the unnamed WrestleMania.

Rocky pulls Andre aside. Everyone got a call about WrestleMania except Rocky. The Rock says his dad didn’t handle it well at all.

{Side note - with the size of the stadium and roster Lia has she’s fictionally already topped WM1, but I digress}

We see highlights from the event set to “Ballroom Blitz” by Sweet.

Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff vs. a bloody Ric Flair & Hillbilly Jim. After the win Jim rubs two weeks' worn underwear in Sheik’s face.

Big John Studd survived his crash. He drives his mangled truck into the stadium to face Andre.

A pre Wrestlemania 3 bout between Randy Savage (with Elizabeth) and Ricky Steamboat is shown.

Jake Roberts vs Sgt. Slaughter. Jake goes to his bag and pulls out a baby snake and christens him Damian. Dewey and Ata are loving the show from the front row.

It’s time for the main event as the steel cage is lowered. Piper and Steele come to the ring with Freddie Blassie. The Soul Patrol is next. Pat & Gene explain the rules of a cage match. We get highlights of the match and Atlas accidentally hits Rocky with an elbow busting him open. They glare at each other. Dewey says “this is what Dad was worried about, Tony got sloppy”.

Rocky leaves the match, turning heel as the crowd chants for Tony we see Blassie shut the cage door with a chain and padlock Lia & Dewey are upset.

On the Jumbotron, we see in the lockeroom that Rocky has found bolt cutters and he runs back to the ring. Ata is pleased with her creative decisions. Rocky throws the cutters into the ring, climbs in and saves the day as the crowd goes banana chanting “Rocky."  Soul Patrol wins. Lia tells Ata she is proud of her.

Randall asks The Rock if Tony real got sloppy and The Rock explains blading on a television sitcom. Randall says the event must have made Rocky feel good. The Rock says “he did, unfortunately he was addicted to the adulation of the crowd and as a wrestler had poor impulse control."

In the lockeroom, Rocky is having a beer and tells Sika to give him his number for the promoter in Saudi Arabia.

Sika asks, “What about your contract with Vince?"

Rocky says, “What about it?"
