KOBK “Blood on my Jeans”

5/7/22 - Chattanooga, TN

Now Available on IWTV.LIVE

We’re back for KOBK’s second official show after December’s wildly emotional  “Souled Out” show that included the final match of KOBK founder Brett Ison. We open with Mose, Akira, Sean Campbell, Luutha X & Hardway Heeter. We’re in the TWE arena, we have a ring(!!! - IYKYK), the hard cam is set to the left side of the room to give it a different feel from normal TWE shows. Mose is your announcer. Mose and Hardway Heeter are your commentators. Kill or Be Killed! Let’s goooooo!

Match 1: “The SON of a SOB” Ron Bass Jr vs M*E*R*C

We starting off with a hard hitting fight. The Generalissimo trying to recruit Bass to his army. He makes the mistake of telling Ron to “make his father proud for once”. That leads to a big lariat and powerbomb. Bass blasts him face first into the apron, slams him there and walks the TWE champ down with big shots. Merc landing some clean kicks to the head, ddt, backwards elbow drop for two! Not enough. Chest kicks to Ron…Bass grabs him, and smothers with punches from his larger frame. He wants a powerbomb but Merc drags him down for a crossface. The crowd refuses to accept a submission here, he powers up and hits a boss man slam. He misses a Vader bomb…Merc with the flying senton to the back…Bass kicks out! Merc with a series of kicks to the head but Ron pops up with a lariat. Haymakers in the center back and forth. Bass landing headbutts. Merc escapes a powerbomb and hits a double knee curb stomp. RBJ out at one! Merc hits two more of those monster knee drops and Bass stays down this time. The crowd may hate Merc but they have to respect how much this match epitomized the KOBK mentality. Even Merc grabs the mic to tell RBJ how proud he is of him for making his father’s legacy proud.

Winner: MERC

Mose is in the ring and informs the crowd that whatever the next match was supposed to be fell through and now the crowd has to put up with the arrival of Pete Youngblood and BK Westbrook. The crowd gives them the kind of welcome you give to giant piles of s*** (such as Ray Jaz) and rain them with rolls of toilet paper. Youngblood addresses the fact that they were opponents at the last KOBK show….but they have a lot in common and they are the “two young guns of KOBK”. Heeter says Nooooooooo. No one wanted to wrestle them tonight apparently. These guys are so wonderfully annoying. They offer an open challenge to the guys in the back. “Get two people out here”. The first person to answer the call? MERRIK DONOVAN!!! Westbrook calls him the “guy from Medieval Times”? Who else is back there? The music hits….ITS THE PITBULL BRETT F***ING ISON!!!! Welcome home! The crowd pops hard for the Pitbull!

Match 2: The 336 Mafia (BK Westbrook & Pete Youngblood) vs Merrik Donovan & Brett Ison

These two are none too happy to be on the opposite end of Ison’s surprise in-ring return. Ison decks Youngblood hard mid-showboat. Westbrook tries his luck and Ison tries to choke him out immediately. Donovan in and Westbrook gets a good kick but Merrik hits a powerslam, a senton and yeets Youngblood into his own partner. Huzzah! The…sigh…336 Mafia start to work double teams on Donovan, keeping the ref distracted. Ison gets in the ring and drops Pete again. Westbrook dropkicks Ison but that just pisses him off. Westbrook and Youngblood keep Donovan out of his corner but heavy head kicks allow the tag to the Pitbull. Ison kills Westbrook with a sitout powerbomb and goes right to a rear naked choke…Youngblood pulls BK to safety. Jawbreaker to Ison but it doesn’t do much. Ison getting stunned by the numbers stacked against him, he comes off his feet with a standing elbow drop. Donovan in, eats a burning hammer style slam into a superkick. Youngblood with a bridging choke. Ison grabs Westbrook and, to quote Mose, “throws a motherf***er into another motherf***er” to break the hold. BK tries a springboard but flies into an Ison RNC. Merrik with the blind tag, double handle to the back of BK’s head. Ison scares Youngblood away from making the save and Donovan gets the pin!

Winner: Merrik Donovan & Brett Ison

“I’ll tell you the same thing I was told. I have time…so I’m back.” says Ison. Hell yeah. What a surprise!

Match 3: Billy Tipton vs “Live and Let Live” Nick Iggy

This crowd remembers how much they hate Nick Iggy and almost take his head during his entrance. Mose and Heeter hate him too. They are ready for Billy Tipton to take him apart. Tipton with big slams early  after the humble Nick Iggy shows how inappropriate that moniker truly is. Iggy escapes a bulldog, splash to the back, two count. Iggy annoying the crowd, Tipton with some gut punches, eats a German for two. Iggy raining down punches. Tipton with a rollup for two. Iggy traps him in the ropes and lights up his chest. Tipton escapes but meets the post facefirst. Iggy grabs a ladder, gets the lights in the venue turned in, he has a tube…Iggy climbs the ladder and fixes the light fixture in the venue…the crowd hates this lol. Tipton fires up, dropkick, bulldog, iggy kicks out! Tipton to the well and throws heavy hands. Fisherman’s suplex for two! Tipton comes running, Iggy stomps him down. DVD for two! Tipton escapes the piledriver…Iggy with a pop up knee, kickout! Iggy grabs his chain and throws it to distract the ref. Blatant low blow and he rolls up Tipton for the three! He pulls up Tipton for a knee and a piledriver. Hardway Heeter hits the ring and Iggy runs for the back. He wants nothing to do with this.

Winner: Nick Iggy

Match 4: Sean Campbell vs AJ Gray

The latest KOBK inductee has his work cut out for him with the Truth. Brett Ison appears at ringside to coach Campbell through this test. Gray overpowering Campbell early and making this kid suffer. Campbell with a quick rollup and rana! Sean throwing chops to Gray. Split legged moonsault! Gray taking forearms but I think he’s getting annoyed. Big wheel kick! Gray has a bloody nose! Campbell taking big chest chops. Sean firing back but Gray  slaps him to the mat. Gray trying to cave this kids chest in. Huge lariat folds him in half. Gray kicks Campbell out of his ring and waits for Campbell to get counted out.

Campbell is back in for more punishment. Campbell isn’t broken though and invites more from AJ. Campbell landing forearms and stunning Gray. Campbell hits a coffin drop on AJ! Kick out! Gray with kicks, a brain buster and a powerbomb stack…Sean kicks out! KOBK! KOBK! KOBK! Pumphandle driver and a lariat to the back of the head….Gray kicks out at two. Gray catches a Samoan drop. Overhead toss for two! Campbell kicks out. AJ hits a pair of huge lariats for the win!

Winner: AJ Gray

Match 5: Joe Black vs Jaden Newman

We’re back from intermission, Dylan Hales has joined the commentary table. Jaden wanted a FIGHT tonight and the absolutely stacked Joe Black is here for just that. Newman trying to outwork Black early but he gets his arm twisted up in the ropes. Newman escapes a head scissor, counter to a headlock. Joe takes it back and starts to lay into Number One and stretch him with a deep camel clutch. Headbutts to the back of the head of Jaden. Newman gets the rope after dragging himself across the ring. Jaden tries some quick covers with his newfound freedom. Newman gets dragged to the apron and trading slaps and forearms…Jaden with a superkick…Joe with a rock bottom to the apron! Falcon arrow for two! Jaden screams NOOOOOOOOOO as he kicks out! Hard back and forth shots in the center. Jaden refuses to give this up. He wants the Ricola driver but…no. Black with a huge flurry and the KO shot drops Newman…but it’s not enough. Black keeps trying to put Newman down but it’s never enough. Jaden hits the Ricola bomb, kick out! Jaden feeling himself and shouting at Black, throwing big chops and strikes. Joe with a kick combo takes the legs out. He hits a running straight punch to the back of the head and the lights of Jaden Newman go right out. Wow.

Winner: Joe Black

Match 6: Arik Royal vs Anthony Henry

Both of these guys had some crazy tests the night before at ACTION Wrestling. Tonight they run back a previous clash at ACTION that Royal won through semi-controversial means. These two know each other well, both through direct competition and the amount of time they’ve both spent in the Southeast. Big shoulder block from Ace. Henry hits a flying kick in return. Royal and Henry trading some heavy chops. Arik is IMPRESSED with how hard they are landing shots. Henry with kicks and may have blown his knee trying a stomp to the elbow. Acegawd’s Curse! Henry rolls to the outside to recover. Royal gives chase and slams him to the apron. Henry out at one and throws a middle finger hard. Royal walking Henry down and kicking his legs out. Fallback stump pullers! Leg drop to the knee! Tie uo the legs and bridge them! Henry gets the arms and tries to break them off! Henry backdrops out of a powerbomb. That took strength! Sto to the buckles! He tries and exploder but that’s not happening. Royal tries one but Henry takes the knee…exploder connects! Henry trying to break down the Acegawd’s arm. Standing kimura! Ace slams out of it! Henry recovering and landing some hard kicks to the legs. Arik firing back…stand and trade! Uppercut drops Henry…no, Anthony floats over into an armbreaker! Triangle choke is deep on Royal. Slams out of the hold…Royal sinks in a figure four immediately! Henry to the ropes to break it. Arik goes for Kobe, Henry reverses to a crossface. Royal out, Kobe connects! Henry kicks out! Superkick starches the Acegawd. Henry to the top, Royal with a headbutt intercept! Royal hits a big lariat! Henry rolls it up for two! Tornado armbreaker! Henry goes to wrap up the arms but Royal shifts his weight and the ref counts one two………three. Anthony Henry and even Arik Royal looks shocked that this match ended as it did. The ref’s count was suspect for sure but the decision stands. Run this back again, for sure!

Winner: Arik Royal

Before our main event, Mose lets us know that October 15th is the next KOBK show!

Main Event: Adam Priest vs AKIRA

Ok, this place is less bizzarro world. This crowd is mostly booing Adam Priest and this is how it should be. The leftover toilet paper is getting chucked at him. This is great. Priest grabs the mic and gives Akira hell for bringing his dog to the ring. “That dog sells more merchandise than you ever will” Hooooooooooboy! Priest takes Akira down and twists at the arms and legs…Akira countering and reversing. Priest sent to the ropes to avoid submission. Akira with a bridging pin on a leapfrog…kick out! Priest needs to refocus. Priest with a take over and a disrespectful tap to the spine with his foot and a Pat on the head. Akira is furious and it’s time to pummel. Big chops to Adam on the outside. Priest takes him out at the knees with a chair and introduces him to the post. Wrench the arm into the post. Chop block. Priest is breaking AKIRA’s body down. Akira is bloody from all this abuse….but that is firing the Death Samurai up. Priest traps him in figure four but Akira chops Adam’s check up and flips the hold. Akira turns it into a muta lock. Priest to the ropes and fights off a saito with big chops. Trading up and down kicks. Big slam and stomp to the back of the head. Priest goes for the legs but Akira turns it into a dragon sleeper. Priest sent to the front row, superkicked and thrown into the seats, sending them tumbling. Akira grabs Oriest and makes him bleed his own blood. Priest doesn’t like this at all. Exploder out of the corner, basement lariat for two! Priest is crawling for safety but Akira pulls him up for kawada kicks. Priest runs into a STO. German! Kick out! Akira comes running, Priest with a powerbomb, rolls it over to a Boston crab! Transition to a STF! Akira biting at the hands! Akira switches the hold to a rear naked choke! Priest works to his feet…roll over to a pin…Akira flips back to the choke! Priest out and dropped on his head. PK for two! Akira grabs an armbar! Grapple into the ropes, Priest hits a hangman’s ddt! Huge chops to Akira! Akira escapes the superplex! Electric chair snake eyes! German! Moonsault to Priest! Trading shots! Priest with a saito! Akira with a GTS variation! Bully choke! Priest goes to sleep in the hold!

Winner: Akira

Akira wants the mic. He thanks everyone….even Adam Priest. He thanks Mose for the opportunity. He says he’s been in the spotlight for two years…he’s calling his shot for the IWTV title. He wants a chance to take that belt for deathmatch wrestling!

And that’s it for “Blood on My Jeans”! Production-wise, this was a huge improvement from the technical challenges they faced at “Souled Out”. Likely, this broadcast served as the dry run for Monday’s Uncharted Territory season 4 premiere. Content wise, this was a very enjoyable show featuring a lot of folks I know to be awesome workers. This show was very KOBK…even for the wrestlers not part of the group…no one quit. They chose death over surrender. The Ison return was a huge surprise and I’m very curious where the Pitbull will show up next! Like Mose said earlier, KOBK is back in October but you know this crew is going to be ALL OVER the next few months of Uncharted Territory. Until then!
