NJPW STRONG REPORT: MATCHES FROM DALLAS

Match Number One: Bateman and Barrett Brown versus Chris Bey and Hikuleo

Brown and Bey start things off and they lock up. They go to a stalemate. Bey with a snap mare and he bows to the crowd. Brown with a snap mare and he messes up Bey’s hair. Bey wants a Too Sweet but Brown gives him the finger. Bey with a side head lock and Bey with a heads scissors take down. Bey with a drop kick to the knee and he stomps on the hands and hits a drop kick.

Bey with a chop but Brown with an arm wringer and a kick to the head followed by a half nelson suplex. Bateman tags in and they send Bey into the corner. Brown with an elbow and Bateman sends Bey face first to the mat and gets a near fall. Bateman with punches. Hikuleo makes the tag and Bey with a boot and Hikuleo with a boot. Bey knocks Brown off the apron. Hikuleo sends Bateman into the turnbuckles. Hikuleo with a kick to Bateman and a forearm. Hikuleo with a chop and Bateman with forearms and a chop. Hikuleo with a shoulder tackle and Bateman goes to the floor. Bey kicks Bateman on the floor.

Hikuleo picks up Bateman and hot shots him on the guardrails. Hikuleo with a chop and he sends Bateman back into the ring. Hikuleo with a kick to the back and he knocks Brown off the apron to prevent a tag. Hikuleo gets a near fall. Bey tags in and kicks Bateman and follows with a punch. Bey with a kick and a leg sweep and double stomp to the back for a near fall.

Bey gets another near fall. Hikuleo tags himself back in and he sends Bateman into the turnbuckles. Hikuleo with a slam and leg drop for a near fall. Bey tags in and he rakes the eyes. Bey chokes Bateman while Brown is sent ot the apron by the referee. Bateman with a chop and forearm. Bey with an enzuigiri and both men are down. Bey with a double wrist lock. Bey with kicks to the chest and then to the head. Bateman falls to the floor. Hikuleo sends Bateman into the guardrails and then back into the ring. Bey with a sleeper and body scissors. Bateman gets back to his feet and he backs Bey into the corner. Bey sends Bateman into the turnbuckles but misses a splash. Brown tags in and he hits a back heel kick and a drop kick. Brown with a running uppercut and a flying boot for a near fall. Brown with a suplex for a near fall. Bateman tags in and they send Bey into the corner. Bey pushes Bateman into Brown and Hikuleo tags in.

Bateman with forearms and a rolling elbow. Bateman with a back elbow and Brown goes up top. Bey with a flip dive onto Bateman on the floor. Brown leaps over Hikuleo and hits a super kick. Hikuleo with a clothesline and choke slam for the three count.

Winners: Chris Bey and Hikuleo

After the match, Bey wants a Too Sweet from Hikuleo but he refuses multiple times.

Match Number Two: Blake Christian versus Jonah

They lock up and Jonah backs Blake into the corner and gives a clean break. Blake goes for the leg but Jonah does not move. Jonah puts Blake on the apron and Blake rethinks his strategy. Jonah with a wrist lock into a waist lock and a take down.

Blake with a side head lock and Jonah with a shoulder tackle. Blake goes for a leap frog but Jonah clips him. Blake backs into the corner but he avoids Jonah. Blake with a Tiger Feint Kick to the leg and then to the midsection. Blake with a springboard drop kick to send Jonah to the floor. Jonah catches Blake on a plancha and slams him on the floor. Jonah with a hot shot into the guardrails.

Jonah sends Blake back into the ring. Jonah with a double sledge to the back and he sends Blake into the turnbuckles. Jonah stands on Blake’s midsection and then he pulls Blake back into the ring. Jonah with a hard Irish whip. Jonah with a waist lock and Blake with elbows. Jonah with a back elbow. Jonah with an Irish hip but he misses a splash. Jonah blocks an Irish whip and Blake with a kick and forearms. Jonah stays on his feet. Blake goes for a quebrada but Jonah catches him and Blake counters with a DDT. Jonah goes to the floor and he catches Blake after a Fosbury Flop. Blake with a tornado DDT on the floor. Blake with a springboard 450 splash for a near fall. Jonah with a spear and a power bomb. Jonah goes up top and he hits a frog splash for the three count.

Winner: Jonah

Match Number Three: DKC, Fred Rosser, and Alex Coughlin versus Tom Lawlor, JR Kratos, and Royce Isaacs

Isaacs and Rosser start things off and Kratos pulls Alex off the apron. Rosser goes after Lawlor and Rosser with a head butt and back rake. DKC with a suicide dive to Isaacs. DKC with a chop off the apron onto Lawlor. Then he does the same to Kratos and Kratos stays on his feet. Alex and DKC with chops and then Alex tosses DKC to Kratos for a head scissors take down on the floor.

Rosser gets Isaacs up on his shoulders. Alex with a fallaway slam to Lawlor and Rosser with a Death Valley driver. Alex tags in and hits a deadlift gutwrentch suplex for a near fall. Rosser tags in and kicks Isaacs. Rosser with clotheslines to the back and chest. Isaacs with a punch and t-bone suplex. Isaacs with a forearm and Lawlor tags in. Lawlor kicks Rosser and chokes him in the corner. Isaacs chokes Rosser while Lawlor forces the referee to focus on his opponents. Lawlor struts and connects with a forearm. Lawlor with a crucifix submission and Rosser with forearms after he escapes. Kratos tags in and hits a forearm into the corner. Kratos holds Rosser for Isaacs and Isaacs with a punch and forearm. Rosser with elbows and forearms to get out of the corner. Rosser with a double clothesline to Isaacs and Lawlor. DKC tags in and he is knocked down by a shoulder tackle from Kratos. Kratos sends DKC into the turnbuckles and connects with a clothesline. Kratos with a chop and a suplex. Kratos with a slam and they do the Three Amigos salute and then show their love for the crowd.

Lawlor tags in and he goes after Rosser and Rosser with an Irish whip into the guardrails and a suplex on the floor. Rosser with a back drop driver onto the apron. Alex and Kratos get in the ring and Alex with forearms. Kratos fires back and they continue the exchange until Kratos slaps Alex. Kratos with another slap and Alex gets Kratos on his shoulders for a moment. They fight to the floor and Alex with a head lock. DKC with chops to Lawlor and Lawlor with a sleeper but DKC rolls through. DKC with chops to Lawlor. DKC with chops to Isaacs while Kratos and Alex fight to the back. DKC with chops to Lawlor and Isaacs and he gets a near fall on Lawlor. Lawlor runs DKC into Rosser to knock him off the apron and then hits a uranage for a near fall. Royce tags in and Royce gets DKC on his shoulders to drop onto Lawlor’s knees but DKC escapes and he sends Royce into Lawlor’s knees. DKC with a forearm and kicks to Royce followed by a uranage for a near fall. DKC goes up top and Lawlor goes up top as well and he applies a sleeper. Rosser stops Lawlor and Isaacs with a twisting power slam off the turnbuckles for the three count.

Winners: Tom Lawlor, JR Kratos, and Royce Isaacs

After the match, Rosser gets on the mic and he reminds Lawlor that when they were in St. Pete, he challenged Lawlor for the Strong Openweight championship and you walked away from me like a little bitch. I am not asking you, I am telling you that I am the next challenger for the Openweight championship.

Lawlor takes the mic and he tells Fred he is not asking him, he is telling him that his answer is no. I already beat you twice. Tom says he is feeling generous. Do you want to prove yourself or are you going to show you are the same guy you were ten years ago. If you can beat Royce Isaacs and Jorel Nelson at Destiny, you can get a shot. We know that the answer is going to be no.
