DC Comics' new series Jurassic League, which reimagines classic superhero characters including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and more as DINOSAURS will be releasing its first issue this Tuesday 5/10.
The official plot of the book - "The trinity of Batsaur, Wonderdon, and Supersaur welcomes a few new monstrous members in the form of Aquanyx, Flashraptor, and Green Torch! But can even a fully staffed Jurassic League stand a chance against Darkseid and his army of corrupted carnivores?"
Writer and Artist Daniel Warren Johnson, who is a huge pro wrestling fan, will be including a number of pro wrestling nods in the series. In this week's debut issue, there will be a scene featuring the dinosaur incarnation of Batman executing a German Suplex on a dinosaur iteration of Batman's top nemesis, The Joker.
Issue #4, which will be released this August, will feature Green Lantern executing a massive intergalactic German suplex on the cover, which you can preview below, courtesty of the fine folks at DC Comics:
