NJPW STRONG REPORT: CWC FINALS REMATCH, LETHAL VERSUS NARITA, AND MORE

Match Number One: DKC versus Kevin Knight

Knight goes for a leg and they lock up. DKC with a take down and Knight with a front face lock into a double wrist lock take down. DKC with a side head lock. DKC with a crucifix for a near fall. Knight gets a near fall and DKC bridges. DKC gets to the ropes to force a break and then he pushes Knight. Knight pushes back. They exchange chops and Knight adds some forearms. DKC with a leg sweep and he misses a kick. Knight with a suplex for a near fall.

Knight kicks DKC and connects with European uppercuts and kicks. Knight with a hard Irish whip for a near fall. Knight with a forearm to the back. Knight gets a near fall. Knight with a reverse chin lock. They exchange forearms and DKC holds the ropes when Knight goes for a drop kick. DKC with a rollup for a near fall. DKC with chops and a bulldog. DKC with chops to the upper chest followed by another chop for a near fall. DKC with chops and a European uppercut for a near fall. DKC with a guillotine. Knight picks up DKC and goes for a suplex but DKC lands on his feet. Knight with a knee and a running kick for a near fall. Knight goes for a Boston Crab but DKC blocks it. DKC with a triangle but Knight picks up DKC and puts him in the ropes. DKC leaps over Knight and Knight with a drop kick for a near fall. Knight with forearms and kicks. DKC with a punch and he goes up top. DKC with a jumping side kick and punches. DKC with a crucifix bomb for a near fall and then he applies a crucifix submission and Knight taps out.

Winner: DKC

Match Number Two: Mascara Dorada versus TJP

They lock up and TJP with a wist lock and Dorada with a wrist lock take down. They lock up and TJP with a hammer lock. Dorada with an elbow and flying mare. TJP goes to the floor to regroup. TJP returns to the ring and they have a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock. TJP with a leg sweep and wrist lock. Dorada with a reversal and TJP with a head scissors take down. Dorada with a head scissors. TJP with a head stand and he escapes into a bow and arrow.

Dorada with a lateral press for a near fall. TJP with a head scissors take down and Dorada with a hanspring moovnault and lands on his feet. TJP with a head scissors. Dorada escapes. TJP with a back heel kick and then he hangs on the ropes on an Irish whip. TJP moves and Dorada goes to the apron. TJP slides under Dorada and Dorada with an Asai Moonsault onto TJP. Dorada with a chop and he sends TJP into the ring. Dorada with a kick from the apron and a springboard cross body. Dorada goes for a springboard back elbow but TJP counters with a drop kick to the back. TJP with a knee to the ribs. TJP with a back breaker and he goes to the apron for a slingshot senton and he gets a near fall.

TJP with a snap mare and knee to the back. TJP with a surfboard and he gets a near fall. TJP with a kick to the midsection and he goes to the apron and slides back into the ring and applies a Sharpshooter. TJP with a Mutoh Lock. TJP with a hammer lock using the leg and then he hyper-extends the arm and leg in a bow and arrow. TJP sends Dorada into the turnbuckles. TJP with a face wash and a running drop kick and goes through the ropes to the floor. Dorada leaps over the top rope and hits a head scissors that sends both men to the floor.

Dorada sends TJP back into the ring and he goes up top. Dorada with a springboard elbow drop for a near fall. Dorada gets TJP up but TJP rakes the eyes and sends Dorada into the turnbuckles. Dorada with a bulldog. Dorada misses a springboard drop kick and TJP tries for an STF but Dorada escapes. Dorada with a rollup for a near fall. TJP with a tornado DDT and both men are down. TJP with a forearm and Dorada fires back. They continue the exchange. TJP with a chop and Dorada chops back. TJP with forearms and Dorada with a super kick. TJP with a back heel kick and a belly-to-back suplex. TJP goes up top and misses a frog splash. Dorada goes for a TKO but TJP escapes and applies an octopus bomb for a near fall.

TJP goes for a Detonation kick but Dorada counters with a DDT and hits a Michinoku Driver for the three count.

Winner: Mascara Dorada

Adfter the match, TJP attacks Dorada and takes his mask. The referee tells TJP to leave the ring while a member of the ring crew covers Dorada’s face with a jacket.

Match Number Three: Jay Lethal versus Ren Narita

Lethal starts off with some Savage and Flair homages for the crowd. Narita goes for the leg but Lethal avoids him. Narita with a kick to the arm. Lethal with a side head lock and a shoulder tackle but Narita bounces off the ropes and hits a shoulder tackle. Lethal with a single leg take down and he tries for a figure four leg lock but Narita kicks Lethal to the floor. Narita with a take down and he tries for a figure four leg lock but Lethal kicks him away. Narita with a full nelson to block Lethal Injection. Lethal with a rollup and he goes for a figure four but Narita with a rollup.

Narita tries for another figure four leg lock but Lethal escapes. Lethal has some words for Narita. They lock up and Lethal with a side head lock and take down. Narita sends Lethal into the corner and Lethal tries to float over but Narita does not go into the corner. Narita with kicks to Lethal. Lethal with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker and a belly-to-back suplex. Lethal with a slam and he gets a near fall. Lethal with a rear chin lock and a knee to the back. Lethal sends Narita over the top rope and tries for a springboard drop kick but Narita moves. Narita tries for a sleeper and Lethal hits a hanging neck breaker. Lethal goes up top and tries for the elbow drop but Narita counters with a crucifix for a near fall. Narita with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex and Lethal goes to the floor. Narita follows Lethal.

Narita sends Lethal into the apron and connects with a knee. They return to the ring and Narita with an Irisih whip and elbow . Narita with a kick and a front face lock suplex for a near fall. Narita with a step over toe hold and Lethal kicks Narita to try to get out of the hold but Narita with a Cloverleaf. Narita holds on when Lehtal tries to roll through. Narita with a figure four leg lock. Lethal gets to the ropes to force a break. Narita with a chop when Lethal tries to block an Irish whip. Narita with more chops but Lethal continues to hold the ropes. Lethal with a chop and Narita with strikes. Lethal with Lethal Combination. Lethal tries for a suplex but Narita blocks it. Lethal continues to get Narita closer to hitting the suplex and he hits it. Lethal with an elbow drop for a near fall. Lethal with a figure four leg lock. Lethal gets a near fall before Narita can get to the ropes. Lethal calls for Lethal Injection and Narita blocks it and applies a rear naked choke into an abdominal stretch. Narita turns it into an octopus. Narita with a rollup for a near fall. Narita with an O’Connor Roll and Lethal rolls through for a near fall. Lethal with Lethal Injection for the three count.

Winner: Jay Lethal

After the match, Lethal offers his hand to Narita. Narita shakes Lethal’s hand and they exchange some words.
