ROMAN VS. DREW & MORE: 4/29 WWE IN LONDON, UK AT THE O2 RESULTS

WWE House Show results from the O2 Arena here in London.

I would say near 20,000 sellout.

Naomi and Sasha defeated Natalya and Shayna Bazler - good opener to get the crowd going.

Gunther defeated Shinsuke Nakamura with a power bomb - effectively a squash match. Lots of Walter chants which was funny.

Bobby Lashley defeated Sheamus with Ridge Holland - Sheamus was getting the British loving and Bobby was over and won with a spear.

WWE Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro defeated WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions Usos when Randy hit an RKO on Jimmy USO for the pin. RK-Bro has the biggest pop of the night at this point. Randy especially was hella over! Great bout.

Aliyah defeated Shotzi - this was the worst match of the night, no one cared, crowd pretty silent and served as an early pit stop for people to get drinks and food before the intermission.

Intermission - announcement of Clash at the Castle in Cardiff on Sept 3rd with those in attendance able to buy tickets tonight!

Ricochet defeated Butch and Sami Zayn in a Triple Threat for the IC title. Great match, Sami was super heel of the night, so much heat. Butch was funny lots of bruiser weight chants for him. Sheamus and Ridge came out after to get butch back in their clutches but failed.

Charlotte defeated Ronda Rousey with natural selection to retain the Smackdown Women’s championship. Good back and forth match and Ronda got the armbar on Charlotte after she was lined with charlottes feet on the ropes.

Main event: Roman Reigns defeated Drew McIntyre to retain the WWE Undisputed Universal Title. Roman by far was the most over I have ever seen him.‘I remember watching him pre pandemic and he was booed to the heavens. This time he was treated like the Tribal Chief that he is. Crowd were singing ‘Oh Head of the table’ in the guise of Keith Lee’s oh bask in his glory. Roman was playing along very well with the crowd. Drew was taken apart for this match. Roman won after a second spear.

All in all, the UK crowd was happy to have WWE back and we are looking forward to Cardiff September 3rd!
