NJPW STRONG REPORT: CHRISTIAN VERSUS SWERVE, AND MORE

Match Number One: John Skyler versus Big Damo

Skyler has something to say to Damo before they lock up. Damo tosses Skyler into the corner and punches him. Damo with a biel and Irish whip. Damo misses a splash when Skyler oges to the apron. Damo follows. Skyler with a kick and spear on the apron. Skyler gets a near fall. Skyler with forearms and kicks to Damo. Damo pushes Skyler away. Skyler with a shoulder in the corner. Damo with punches. Skyler with kicks and a shoulder. Skyler with forearms and chops but Damo does not like it. Skyler begs for mercy and then he kicks Damo. Skyler with kicks and forearms. Skyler with a forearm o the back of the head followed by a neck breaker for a near fall.

Skyler with a reverse chin lock. Skyler with a sleeper and Damo backs Skyler into the corner. Skyler with a missile drop kick. Skyler sets for a Tiger Driver but Damo with a back body drop and clotheslines. Damo with a splash into the corner and a second splash. Damo with a spinebuster and elbow drop for a near fall. Skyler with an enzuigiri and then Damo sends Skyler to the apron. Skyler with a slingshot spear from the apron for a near fall. Skyler kicks Damo and then he goes to the turnbuckles. Damo stops Skyler and hits a fisherman’s superplex for a near fall. Skyler with a head butt and kick. Damo with a cross body for a near fall. Damo gets Skyler up but Skyler gets to his feet. Skyler gets Damo up but Damo gets to his feet. Skyler with a jumping knee to Damo but Damo gets Skyler up for an Accordion Slam and back senton. Damo with a Vader Bomb for the three count.

Winner: Big Damo

Match Number Two: Swerve versus Blake Christian

They lock up and Swerve with a wrist lock. Swerve with a rollup for a near fall. Swerve with a wrist lock into a hammer lock. Christian with a rollup for a near fall. They go to a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and Swerve tries to stomp on the hands but Blake moves and Blake with a side head lock. Swerve with a leg sweep and he misses a double stomp when Blake moves. Blake with a wrist lock and he tries for a German suplex. Swerve with a standing switch. Blake goes for a springboard move but Swerve backs off and Blake stays on the apron.

Blake flips to the floor while Swerve dives to the floor and they have a stand off in the aisle. They go back into the ring Blake with a rollup and a drop kick. Blake with a reverse atomic drop and snap mare followed by a drop kick for a near fall. Blake with a snap mare and body scissors. Blake with a rollup for a near fall. Blake with a kick to the midsection followed by an Irish whip. Swerve avoids a splash and Blake misses a chop. Blake with chops and Swerve blocks a wheelbarrow move. Swerve goes for a sunset flip but Blake stays on his feet. Blake is sent to the floor and Swerve with a boot from the apron. Swerve with a slingshot drop kick for a near fall. Serve kicks Blake in the ribs. Serve sends Blake into the turnbuckles a few times. Swerve with a back elbow and he hits a European uppercut to the back.

Swerve with a half nelson and a forearm to the back. Blake backs Sweve into the corner and he gets a rollup into a splash for a near fall. Blake with a kick and standing moonsault for a near fall. Swerve with a wrist lock and Blake with a series of back heel kicks. Swerve with a clothesline to the back of the head. Swerve with a punch and a series of pump kicks. Blake with a punch and German suplex. Serve with a clothesline but Blake with a Spanish Fly cross body for a near fall.

Swerve goes to the floor and Blake with a Fosbury Flop and he lands on his feet and hits a reverse DDT on the floor. Swerve is sent back into the ring and Blake with a springboard 450 splash for a near fall. Blake goes back to the turnbuckles and Swerve rolls to the other side of the ring. Serve kicks Blake and hits a jumping knee. Swerve with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker and a tilt-a-whirl power slam. Swerve with a brainbuster followed by a jumping back heel kick to the head for the three count.

Winner: Swerve

Match Number Three: Yuya Uemura versus Buddy Matthews

They lock up and go around the ring. Yuya gets away from Buddy. Buddy with a wrist lock and arm bar. Buddy with a wrist lock and Uemura with a reversal. Buddy goes for a side head lock take down but Uemura blocks it. Uemura with a waist lock. Buddy with a wrist lock and arm bar after the break. Buddy works on the finger and then takes Uemura to the mat when Uemura tries for a reversal.

Buddy pulls Uemura to the mat. Uemura with a head scissors. Buddy escapes and he misses a kick. Uemura with a rollup for a near fall. Uemura with a wist lock and Buddy with a standing switch. Uemura with a reversal. Buddy with elbows to avoid a German suplex. Uemura sends Buddy to the apron and connects with a forearm and enzuigiri. Uemura goes ot the apron and he sets for a German suplex on the apron but Buggy holds on to the ropes. Buddy with a wrist lock and Uemrura with forearms. Buddy with an arm wringer to send Uemura onto the apron.

Buddy slams the arm onto the apron and then gets a near fall. Buddy with a double wrist lock. Uemura backs Buddy into the corner but Buddy holds on to the double wrist lock for a moment. Uemura runs into a boot and Uemura with a drop kick. Uemura with a forearm and Buddy fires back. They continue the exchange. Uemura with the advantage and hits a flying forearm and back elbow. Uemura with a splash into the corner and slam followed by an elbow drop or two. Uemura gets a near fall. Uemura with a forearm to the back and he applies a wist lock. Buddy holds on to the ropes and Buddy with elbows and a snap mare. Buddy with elbows to the clavicle. Buddy pushes the referee and then misses a boot. Uemura with a waist lock and Buddy with a knee but Uemura blocks it. Buddy with a boot and Uemura with a German suplex for a near fall.

Uemura goes up top and Buddy stops him. Uemura pushes Buddy off the turnbuckles. Uemura misses a cross body and Buddy with a stomp to the head and he pulls Uemura up. Buddy with Murphy’s Law for the three count.

Winner: Buddy Matthews
