FULL AEW DYNAMITE REPORT

It's Wednesday Night! And that means that Cory Strode, THE Mayor of Strodeland & I are on the call for AEW Dymamite.  Before I begin I wish to express my deepest condolences to Mike Johnson and his family.  We love you Mike and we're all behind you.

Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone and Excalibur have the call of tonight's action from Pittsburgh.

CM Punk vs. Dustin Rhodes

Interestling to note, they both came from what we call the "heel" entrance.  Code of Honor adhered to.  Lockup, neither man has the edge. Arm twist by Dustin into a headlock. Deep armdrag by The Natural.  They seperate. Headlock by Punk, Dustin turns it into a headscissors.  Pittsburgh is on fire! Punk with the bow and arrow stretch, Dustin with a rollup for 1.  Takedown by Punk, he holds a sinlge leg. Dustin to his feet, he scores an armdrag and a chop.  Boot by Punk, rollup by Rhodes for 1.  Armdrag by Rhodes, he applies the pressure. Dustin ducks under a cloithesline and misses a cross body. Punk throws him back in the ring.  Elbows by Punk to the left leg.  Punk comes down on the leg.  Elbows and knees to left leg by Punk as we go to commercial.

We're back and it's Punk on the outside. Punk sweeps Rhodes' leg and Rhodes is laying on the apron.  Dustin kicks him off. Arm twist by Rhodes, he sends Punk into the apron. Kneelift by Rhodes, they excahnge lefts and rights.  Backdrop by Rhodes. Rhodes with a clothesline. 10 count of punches in the corner by Rhodes, his left knee buckles. Punk misses a knee. Code Red by Rhodes for 2.  Uppercut by Rhodes into a powerslam for 2 by Rhodes. Kick by Punk and a chop block.  Figure 4 by Punk. He scores a 2.  They exchange slaps.  Rhodes reverses it.  Punk rolls out.  Heck of an opener we have here.

Rhodes with a punch and a Cross Rhodes. Piledriver for 2 by Rhodes.  Punches by Rhodes, Punk goes for the GTS but Rodes tries a rollup.  Punk counters into a pin.

WINNER CM PUNK

Hug of Honor adhered to. Punk motions for that AEW World Title belt and Hangman Page comes out (again, from the "heel" entrance").

We see Wardlow arriving. Mark Sterling advises him that AEW security will escort him to his closer.  He's handcuffed as a precaution.

Wheeler Yuta, Bryan Danieslon and Jon Moxley w/William Regal vs. Dante Martin, Brock Anderson and Lee Moriarty.

It's a mugging as the BCC attack immediately. MArtin scores with a side kick, Yuta slams him into the buckle and tags in Danielson.  Chops by Danielson.  Arn Anderson is with his son.  Martin evades Danielson but Moxley tags in.  Martin with a kick and he tags Brock in. Brock gors to work but eats snap dragon as we go to commercial.

We're back.

We're back and it's Moxley with armbar on Anderson.  Punch by Moxley. Spine buster by Anderson. Danielson and Moriarty tag in. Moriarty drops the BCC and nails a springboard splash to Danielson. Palm strikes by the 2.  Uppercut by Moriarty into a back suplex. Border city stretch by Moriarty. Danielson with a shoulder suplex. Martin tags in and he sens Mox to the floor.  As they come in Moxley slaps a bulldog choke. Moriarty tries to break it up. Moxley nails a paradigm shift on Martin for the pin.

WINNERS JON MOXLEY BRYAN DANIELSON AND WHEELER YUTA

The Young Bucks, reDRagon and Adam Cole are arguing among themselves about their recent failures. They want an open challenge 10 man tag for next week.

Samoa Joe and Jay Lethal have words for each other.

Tony Schiavone brings in Tony Khan for the big announcement. He brings out the President of New Japan Pro Wrestling. Adam Cole interrupts.  On June 26th in Chicago, it'll be an AEW and NJPW joint show.  This Friday it's Adam Cole vs. Ishii in an Own Hart Qualifying match.  Jay White comes out.  It's not about NJPW or AEW, it's about the Switchblade and the Undisputed Elite and the Bullet Club.

Jade Cargill, Kiera Hogan and Red Velvet have some choice words for Marina Shafir.

Wardlow vs. The Butcher

MJF is in a luxury box running down the Steelers and Wardlow. Wardlow is still handcuffed flanked by security. Cory, last week, said Butcher should win. I say it's a powerbomb symphony. They collide three times and trade shots. Butcher bites him. Shoulder block by Wardlow. Butcher throws a chair into the ring.  He pulls Wardlow to the floor and sends him into the barricade.  Butcher sends him into the apron.  Back in the ring, it's Butcher with a clothesline. Butcher with a powerbomb for 1. Wardlow is mad.  We get the Symphony pf powerbombs (4) for the pin.

Owen Hart Cup Qualifier: Kyle O'Reilly vs. Jungle Boy Jack Perry

Lockup, standing switch by Perry into a front facelock, KOR escapes.  Test of strength. Monkey flip by Perry, KOR turns it into a 2 count. Perry tries an armdrag and KOR turns it into a arm breaker, Perry makes the ropes.  KOR misses a roundhouse kick and Perry nails a clothesline. Perry with a chop and forearms. Trip by KOR. Top wristlock by O'Reilly into an armbreaker for 2.  Butterfly suplexes by KOR as we got o commercial.

We're back and KOR has an ankle lock. Back elbow and chops by Perry. Running clothesline by Perry. Kick to the leg by Kyle. KOR rolls out and Perry hits a lope suicida. Lariat by Perry. As Perry re enters, it's KOR with a corkscrew. Perry with a DDT into a choke hold. KOR punches his way out. Pump handle by KOR, both me are down.  KOR with a kick but a belly to belly by Perry. Knees by KOR. Kyke with an eye rake but Perry fires away and he stomps Kyle. Dropkick by Perry. KOR avoids a clothesline and kicks out at 2 off a rollup. Ankle lock by O Reilly. Perry escapes and applies the Snare Trap. Kyle makes the ropes.  Perry to the top but KOR with a superplex.  KOR with a brain buster.  KOR drops the knee from the top and scores the pin.

Hook vs. Anthony Henry

Ankle takedown by Hook, Henry makes the ropes.  Hook with body punches into a Northern Lights. Lariat by Hook into crossfaces. Danhausen comes out to try and curse him.  Redrum by Hook and Henry taps.

WINNER HOOK

Danhausen comes in and challenges Hook to a match.  Hook walks off.

Frankie Kazarian begins a challenge to Sammy Guevara and is interrupted by Scorpio Sky. He asks Kazarian to wait for his shot. Kazarian agrees.

Thunder Rosa with some words for the AEW locker room.

TNT champion Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti are in the ring and Pittsburgh is having none of it.  They kiss.  Sammy brings up how hot Tay is.  Scorpio Sky, Dan Lambert and Ethan Page come out. The Men of the Year are getting roundly cheered. Lambert says Sky demands a rematch.  Next week it's Sky vs. Sammy in a ladder match.

The House of Black has words of warning. Something is going down next week.

Danielle Kamela vs. Dr. Britt Baker DMD w/Najee Harris and another Pittsburgh Steeler whose name I missed in an Owen Hart Tournament Qualifier.

Lockup, Kamela throws her off and scores a takedown. Headlock by Baker into a crucifix for 1.  Underhook suplex by Baker as we go to commercial.

We're back are Baker with forearms to fire away.  Sling blade by Baker. Superkick by Baker. Neckbreaker by Baker into a curb stomp.  Lockjaw and that's all she wrote.

WINNER DR BRITT BAKER DMD

Dr. Baker takes the mic and says the AEW women's division is a disaster without her.  

We get a look at Serena Deeb and Hikaru Shida ahead of match #5 next week

Coffin Match: Andrade El Idolo w/Jose the Assistant  vs. Darby Allin

Darby fights off the Blade and nails Andrade with the skateboard.  Marq Quen and Blade gang up on Allin. Andrade seemed to hurt his hand on the coffin. Andrade nails Allin with his skateboard. Sting attacks Quen and Blade and it's a 5 way brawl in the crowd.  Sting and Quen are on the aisle way. Quen with a chairshot. Sting jumps off the aisle onto Andrade and Blade after Quen's chairshor doesn't register.  We go to commercial.

We're back and Allin is slumped in the corner. Darby throws a chair and nails a Destoryer on Andrade. Andrade catches the coffin drop and German Suplexes Allin on the floor. Andrade puts Darby in the coffin but Allin fights him off.  The coffin is laced with thumbtacks.  Andrade suplexes him on the ramp. Allin fights off a suplex on the grate as long as he can but Andrade eventually hits it.  Andrade throws him into the steps. The referee tells us we have 90 seconds.  Allin with a Lope suicida on Andrade and Andrade lands in the casket.  Jose tries to help but he gets suplexed on to the tack laden cover. Allin closes the lid for the win.
