WWE WINS AWARD, COMMUNITY OUTREACH, 20 YEARS OF ORTON AND MORE

I’m incredibly proud to represent WWE for so many reasons, not only for the impact we have on our fans and partners, but for the impact we make in the communities we serve. This includes our Superstars playing unified sports with Special Olympics athletes, hosting anti-bullying rallies for boys and girls in Saudi Arabia, or recognizing local community heroes like Sgt. Al Reeder who developed a program that delivered hundreds of pounds of food every week to the local community of Las Vegas. 

To a person, our work in the community is what our Superstars find most rewarding. Together, we generated more than 12.1 million impressions for our partners, raised and contributed $4.2 million, and hosted and participated in 231 Global Events with 300 WWE Superstar appearances. WWE announced the following:

WWE earned a noteworthy victory at the 2022 Cynopsis Sports Media Awards on Tuesday.

In the category of "Overall Social Media Excellence (Brand)," WWE tied with CBS Sports to garner the win, besting FOX Sports, the NBA and Turner Sports.

The Cynopsis Sports Media Awards are held annually and recognize "the industry’s biggest players and best work."

WWE announced the following:

WWE celebrates Randy Orton’s milestone anniversary with #OrtonWeek

Already the record-holder for the most matches in Raw and Premium Live Event history, Randy Orton is set to cross another milestone this Monday: the 20th anniversary of his WWE debut.

From RKO-ing Mr. McMahon and setting The Undertaker’s casket ablaze, to rivaling John Cena and teaming with Riddle, The Viper has seen and done it all in his remarkable career.

In honor of Orton’s upcoming anniversary, join WWE in celebrating the 14-time World Champion all week long on social media, starting today. Be on the lookout for special Orton-themed editions of WWE Top 10 and WWE Supercut, throwback clips of his career highlights and wildest moments, rare and unseen photos, and much more.
