What’s remarkable is the fact that many betting sites are making bold predictions that this could be the year that Buffalo Bills win their first Super Bowl. The Chiefs will still be feeling the shock of losing that AFC title game to the Bengals. After all, this was a game lost after an all-time classic that saw them putting out the Bills in the previous round. Thankfully any team featuring modern-day legends like Patrick Mahomes alongside streetwise coaches such as Andy Reid won’t be kept down for too long. While the Bengals exceeded expectations to reach the Super Bowl, now comes the tricky task of trying to repeat the feat. Thankfully Cincinnati has a young side that’s packed with talented stars like Joe Burrow and so they might just prove that they are here to stay.
The endlessly underachieving Dallas Cowboys will be hoping that 2023 may be the year that things finally come good. While Jerry Jones’ endless tinkering with the team may have picked up plenty of critics, few people would dispute the power of the Cowboys’ offense. It remains to be seen whether Mike McCarthy can last another season as the head coach of ‘America’s Team’.
The 49ers actually did better than expected last season, but there remain big questions about San Francisco’s choice of quarterback. 2023 might finally be the year in which Jimmy Garappolo says farewell, which will give Trey Lance a massive challenge to finally bring the Super Bowl back to San Francisco.
