WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: WHICH TAG TEAM HAS THE ADVANTAGE?, NEW INTERVIEWER, AN IC TITLE MATCH, AND MORE

Raw Tag Team Champions, Randy Orton and Riddle make their way to the ring.

Riddle says he is so stoked to be back on Smackdown, with his best friend Randy. They didn’t come here just to say what’s up. Randy tells Riddle that is not why they are here. They are here because on Raw, the Usos came and kicked him in the mouth in their ring. They also challenged them to a unification match. We are in your ring on your show so if the Usos want an answer, come out to the ring so we can give it to you.

The Smackdown Tag Team Champions, the Usos make their way to the ring.

Jimmy says look who showed up in Bloodlline territory. It is the tag team champions. Jey asks them if they know where they are. They are behind enemy lines. This is Smackdown, where the Bloodline resides. Jimmy says they came to their show to make the challenge to unify the titles. Now you want to show up on our show? What is the answer.

Jey tells them to chill. They know about Orton. He reminds them who they are dealing with. Jimmy tells them to leave the Raw titles here and get their asses back to Raw. You might get hit with the 1 and Done.

Randy says he loves their whole family. He remembers being in the locker room with your family but you are assholes. If you puppies want to yip yip, the big dog let the bitches off their leash. Orton says this is his show and his ring. Randy reminds The Usos who he is. Orton says he has been setting records for twenty plus years.

Randy says they accept the challenge.

They move to the other side of the ring for a stare down with the belts.

The Usos leave the ring and start to go to the back but they attack Riddle on the turnbuckles.

Naomi and Sasha Banks are in the back and Sasha says the men’s tag team champions should just follow their lead.

Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan show up and they want to hear what Naomi has to do to beat Rhea.

Sasha says the Glow will always shine over the night . . . mare.

Adam Pearce is in the back and Randy Orton and Riddle want to have the match made official.

Pearce says he has to wait for the higher ups to do something about it.

Riddle says he wants a piece of Jimmy Uso.

Pearce gives Riddle a match against Jimmy tonight.

Match Number One: Naomi (with Sasha Banks) versus Rhea Ripley (with Liv Morgan)

They lock up and Rhea backs Naomi into the corner. Rhea with a clean break but Naomi gets out of the corner. Naomi goes for a monkey flip but Rhea blocks it and she puts Naomi on the turnbuckles. Naomi kicks Rhea but Rhea catches Naomi. Rhea with a shoulder tackle and she runs Naomi into the turnbuckles. Rhea with short arm clotheslines. Naomi slides under a boot and Naomi with a handstand head scissors that sends Rhea to the floor.

Naomi with a knee o the apron but Rhea avoids being sent into the ring post and Rhea sends Naomi to the mat. Rhea goes up top and Naomi with an enzuigiri and Rhea goes to the floor again. Naomi misses a baseball slide and Rhea with a clothesline.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Rhea with an arm bar. Naomi with a jaw breaker and a scissors kick. Naomi with a bulldog into the turnbuckles and Naomi goes up to and hits a cross body for a near fall. Naomi with a spike head scissors and she gets a near fall. Naomi with a full nelson and Rhea escapes and connects with a head butt and Northern Lights suplex for a near fall.

Rhea goes up top and Naomi with a forearm and more punches on the turnbuckles. Rhea goes for RipTide off the turnbuckles but Naomi with a knee. Rhea with a missile drop kick for a near fall. Naomi with an inside cradle for a near fall. Naomi with a springboard round kick but Naomi holds her ankle. Naomi with a Full Nelson bomb and rollup for a near fall. Rhea goes for RipTide and Naomi blocks it for a moment but Rhea with RipTide for the three count.

Winner: Rhea Ripley

The Usos walk in the back and Kayla Braxton ambushes them about what happened earlier in the ring and the match later tonight. The Usos go into Roman’s locker room without saying anything.
We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at the Emancipation of Riddick Moss.

Megan Morant is with Baron Corbin.

She asks him about what Moss did last week and Corbin says to call him his associate puts him on the same level as him. Moss was a hanger on, a minion, gofer. He was his lackey. He kept him around because he was fun to laugh at. He became an anchor around his career. He would still be undefeated if not for Moss. Moss is going to make a name for himself. If you think I am happy now, wait until Moss falls flat on his face and becomes the laughing stock of Smackdown.

Drew Gulak is with Riddick Moss.

Drew asks if Corbin is getting under Moss’ skin. Moss says it must mean something that people cared more about him when he was a bum. He says Corbin helped him out and taught him some jokes. He says he had to know his jokes and his audience was a large, bald man who liked puns.

Gulak asks Moss about his match against Humberto. If you think they are going to make an example out of him, they can take their kiss cam and shove it (as they show Moss’ rear end).

Match Number Two: Riddick Moss versus Humberto Carrillo (with Angel Garza)

Angel distracts Moss and Carrillo with punches and kicks. Garza punches Moss while Carrillo distracts the referee. Carrillo with a European uppercut and punches to the head. Carrillo with a kick to the midsection. Carrillo with a snap mare and front face lock. Moss with punches and Carrillo with a forearm. Moss with a running shoulder tackle that spins Carrillo. Moss with a back elbow. Moss runs into an elbow and goes for a cross body off the turnbuckles but Moss catches Humberto and hits a fallaway slam.

Moss misses Humberto but he does hit a shoulder on Angel on the apron. Moss with a running shoulder to Humberto in the corner followed by Punchline for the three count.

Winner: Riddick Moss

After the match, Garza tells Humberto he lost to a joke.

Adam Pearce is still on his phone in the back and Charlotte Flair enters.

Charlotte wants to know who accepted the request for Ronda’s match.

Drew Gulak enters and asks for an evaluation on his first interview.

Charlotte tells Drew they can evaluate him when Drew interviews her in the ring.

We go to commercial.
