Kazuchika Okada vs. CIMA

Slow start to the match.  They grappled and kept things  on the mat.  CIMA explodes with some Lucha strikes.  Match goes to the floor.  Okada gets thrown into the guardrails.  CIMA hits a DDT on the floor.  CIMA follows with a running Meteora off the ring apron.  Okada is almost counted out.  Okada fights back.  He takes the match back to the floor.  He hits a DDT, then a running dropkick to CIMA's chest.   Back in the ring, Okada applies the Money Clip.  CIMA gets a break.  Okada hits a dropkick and top rope elbow.   He calls for the Rainmaker.  Okada misses a Rainmaker and CIMA hits a back cracker.  CIMA hits a Meteora to back of the head.   Okada counters with a jumping twisting tombstone.  CIMA fights back with another back cracker off the ropes and a coast to coast dropkick.  CIMA hits a glancing Meteora from the top rope.  CIMA pulls down the knee pads and goes to the top rope.  Okada moves out of the way and CIMA lands with bare knees on the mat.

Okada applies the Money Clip.  CIMA gets a rope break.  They exchange reversals.   Okada hits a Landslide and follows with a Rainmaker.

Okada pins CIMA.

Kazuchika Okada will face Tetsuya Naito in the SemiFinals on March 26.

Okada and CIMA kneel in the ring.  Okada bows to CIMA.  CIMA returns the bow toward Okada.  Much respect between these two men.

This was a good match.  

 

Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Will Ospreay

United Empire is at ringside.

They start fast.  Good chain wrestling.    

Go watch this match.  This was great stuff.  

Ospreay tweaked his knee.   ZSJ kept going after the knee.   Ospreay went for Storm Breaker.  ZSJ reversed out.  He took down Ospreay by his injured leg.  ZSJ trapped the injured leg, with his legs and grabbed Ospreay in a sleeper, he pulled back with all the pressure on Ospreay’s leg.

Ospreay tapped out.

Ospreay and the United Empire argued that he did not tap out but the referee ruled it a final decision.

Zack Sabre Jr.  moves to the Semifinals to face Shingo Takagi.

Damn this main event was good.  If you are reading this, please check it out.

Zack Sabre Jr. said this was the toughest match he and Ospreay ever had.  He said Ospreay hit him so hard that he may have blacked out.
