4/9 Big Time Wrestling Lightning Strikes Twice: Celebrating 45 Years of Big Time Wrestling results from Chillicothe, Ohio at the Huntington Township High School Gymnasium.

 

The promotion issued the following:

From 1:00PM until 6:00PM there was a "Meet & Greet" Fan Fest which featured W.W.E. Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter in addition to all of the grapplers who would appear live in front of the many fans later on the "Wrestling Super Show"!!!

"WRESTLING SUPER SHOW" OPENING AT 6:30PM: W.W.E. Hall of Famer "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan was introduced and spoke to the near capacity crowd!!!

(1) TIGER WEIGHT DIVISION MATCH FEATURING TWO MULTI-GENERATION TALENTS: Flyin' Brian Pillman, Jr. pinned Kerry Morton in 10:46 following a modified "Michinoku Driver"!!! Afterward Pillman, Jr. was presented a plaque inducting his late father Flyin' Brian Pillman, Sr. into the Ohio Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in a ceremony attended by Bobby Fulton, Killer J.D. Kent, Roger Vest, Jennifer Graham Schaffer (daughter of the late Leon Graham), and Jarron Hines!!!

(2) RETURN MATCH FOR THE "QUEEN OF THE RING" CHAMPIONSHIP: Ryleigh Matthews (sub for the injured "Russian Crush" Natalia Markova) defeated champion Big Mama, "Octopus" SUBMISSION in 7:44 to win the title!!! Earlier in the bout Mama had been disqualified for shoving ref Flannery at the 5:41 mark, but the official eventually elected to restart the match!!!

 FEATURE MATCH: "Live Wire" Sean Casey pinned "The Vampire Warrior" Gangrel in 11:59 after nailing his foe with a thrust-superkick out of nowhere!!!

(4) THE 8-MAN "BIG JIM HINES MEMORIAL BATTLE ROYALE" was won by "Superman" Onyx after seven minutes!!! Just prior to the event Dillon Hines spoke on the house mic about how his grandfather “Big” Jim Hines had started James Hines Family Promotions and of its history through the years!!! Onyx eventually sent both of his final two competitors Chris Cannon and Kerry Morton flying out backwards over the top rope simultaneously via a single big double clothesline clout for the duke!!!

W.W.E. Hall of Famer "The Birdman" Koko B. Ware was introduced, and he then proceeded to invite as many children as the ring could possibly hold into the squared-circle to hear his speech!!!****

(5) SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH: "The Chosen" Josh Benson (with "The Chairman Of The Board" Of World Classic Professional Big Time Wrestling: "The Good Doctor" Dillon Hines) pinned Shark Boy with his feet on the ropes for extra illegal leverage!!! Prior to the bout Hines extolled his young find and then distanced himself from his scheduled partners in the evening's later Huntington Hills Brawl six-man team bout!!! As Shark Boy later stood on the middle ring rope pounding down on his foe in a corner, Hines reached through the ropes to pull a leg out from under him to send his victim crashing down to the mat and be illegally covered by his charge!!!

(6) TWO-ON-THREE "HUNTINGTON HILLS BRAWL": "Fantastic" Jackie Fulton/"The Franchise" Shane Douglas (their third man Dillon Hines had just pulled out of his participation in the event) defeated "The Show" Robby "Super" Starr/"Michigan's #1 Son" The Amazing "N8" Mattson/The Iron Russian (with "The Agent Known As The Leader" David Barnabas Spector) (Jackie Fulton pinned Starr following a "stunner" maneuver) in 6:55!!! Witnessed by Bobby and Jackie Fulton as well as by Jarron Hines, postbout Shane Douglas would be presented the Ohio Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame plaque of his mentor and "second father" Dominic DeNucci whose induction ceremony had been originally scheduled two years earlier and had been postponed by the outbreak of Covid-19!!!

(7) TAG-TEAM SEMI-FINAL EVENT: "The Rock 'N' Roll Express" (Ricky Morton/Robert Gibson) defeated "Total Protection" Mr. Hughes & "The Murderhawk Monster" Lance Archer (Morton pinned Hughes with a rear takedown cradle after his sidestepped charging foe had crashed a turnbuckle) in 7:09!!!

MAIN-EVENT WITH SPECIAL REFEREE "THE MAN WHO CALLS IT RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE" BILL ALFONSO: Rob Van Dam - "R.V.D." pinned "2 Cold Scorpio" Flash Funk via the "5-Star Frog Splash" in 11:24 with the three-count tolled by self-appointed emergency official "The Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal" Sabu!!! Van Dam had earlier deliberately sent official "Fonzie" flying unconscious out onto the timekeeper's table!!! During Alfonso's incapacitation Scorpio did connect with a spectacular top-rope flip "guillotine-legdrop" onto R.V.D. but, unfortunately for him, there was no ref available to toll a possible cover!!!
