Japanese legend Shinjiro Otani was stretchered from the ring after suffering what was believed to be a cervical spine injury at today's ZERO-ONE event in Tokyo, Japan while wrestling Takashi Sugiura.
Otani took a German suplex into the turnbuckles and was not able to move after taking the bump. Fans were asked to leave the venue with Otani stretchered out. He was able to communicate but was not moving his extremities. His wrestling boots were removed and the ring ropes were taken down so he could be removed from the ring.
Everyone at PWInsider.com sends Otani and his family all the best.
