WWE NXT UK REPORT: STRONG VERSUS DRAGUNOV, AND MORE

Your announcers are Andy Shepherd and Nigel McGuinness.

We get comments from Ilja Dragunov and Roderick Strong along with a video package for their NXT UK Championship Match.

Match Number One: Primate (with T-Bone and Eddie Dennis) versus Wild Boar

Boar with a punch and then Primate throws a few punches as they go back and forth. They exchange forearms and Primate with a knee to the midsection and a forearm to the back. Primate with an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner. Primate with an Irish whip and Boar with an elbow. Boar with punches and forearms in the corner. Boar with a back senton to Primate’s back. Boar with punches to Primate followed by a uranage. Boar goes to the floor to go after Dennis.

Primate misses a clothesline on the floor and Boar clotheslines Primate. Boar sends Primate back into the ring and Boar goes back in. Boar stares at Dennis and he turns around and Primate with a pop up sit out power bomb. Primate with a boot to the head. Primate with a punch. Primate with a back elbow. Primate with punches to Boar’s head. Primate with an Irish whip but he misses a splash. Primate comes off the turnbuckles and Boar moves so Primate lands on his feet. Boar with a German suplex and a running shoulder in the corner. Boar with a cannonball into the corner. T-Bone gets on the apron and Boar punches him. Dennis hits Boar in the head with the chain and Primate gets the three count.

Winner: Primate

After the match, Dennis and T-Bone enter the ring. Primate and T-Bone hold Wild Boar and Dennis puts the collar on Boar and Dennis whips Boar with the chain and then he chokes him. T-Bone and Primate attack Boar.

Mark Andrews comes out with a chair and he hits T-Bone and then he hits Primate in the ring. Andrews swings at Dennis but Eddie is able to escape.

Dennis wants to know what Andrews is doing here.

We see Ilja Dragunov in the back and he gets ready for his match against Roderick Strong.

We go to footage from earlier in the week with Sam Gradwell talking about how Kenny Williams isn’t the only one who can play games. Sam opens his bag and he sees a lot of maggots and he blames Kenny Williams for it.

We go to Die Familie in their condo.

Raja says Teoman was right. They have been asserting their dominance week by week. It will continue when Charlie faces Wolfgang. Dempsey says he tapped him out once, so it won’t be any different the second time. Dempsey tells Teoman not to take A-Kid lightly. He asks Teoman what does the eye see. Teoman says the eye has seen that A-Kid’s focus is elsewhere. He says pain is temporary, but for A-Kid, it will be permanent.

They toast their continued success.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Dave Mastiff and Jack Starz are in the Performance Centre.

Gallus is behind them and Joe yells at Mastiff but Mastiff tells Joe he better focus on spotting his brother.

Joe says he is all about getting rowdy.

Dave says him and Jack are a bit tighter than Joe and his brother.

Match Number Two: Wolfgang versus Charlie Dempsey (with Rohan Raja)

Dempsey with a slap and a waist lock. Dempsey with a cravate. Wolfgang tries to roll through to escape but Dempsey holds on. Dempsey with a cravate suplex. Wolfgang backs Dempsey into the corner and Wolfgang with a back drop. Wolfgang with a shoulder. Wolfgang blocks a hip toss and Wolfgang with an arm bar and take down.

Wolfgang adds more pressure but Dempsey with a hip toss but Wolfgang holds on to the arm bar. Dempsey with a front face lock. Dempsey with a forearm in the corner and Wolfgang with a chop. They go back and forth with forearms. Dempsey with a side head lock and shoulder tackle but Wolfgang stays on his feet. Dempsey with a knee bar and Wolfgang kicks Dempsey to get out of the hold. Dempsey with a kick to the midsection and a forearm to the back. Dempsey gets a near fall. Dempsey with a double wrist lock. Dempsey gets another near fall.

Dempsey goes for a bow and arrow but Wolfgang blocks it and escapes. Dempsey with a rear naked choke. Wolfgang with a fireman’s carry and uppercut. Dempsey and Wolfgang exchange European uppercuts. Dempsey goes for a back slide but Wolfgang blocks it. Wolfgang returns to the arm bar and Dempsey escapes. Wolfgang with a back drop and a splash into the corner. Wolfgang goes up top and hits a double sledge to the head. Wolfgang with a back senton for a near fall. Dempsey with a knee to the chest and a knee to the midsection.

Dempsey goes for a butterfly suplex but Wolfgang blocks it. Dempsey with a single leg take down. Wolfgang kicks Dempsey but Dempsey holds on and he works on the ankle and twists it. Dempsey goes for the STF but Wolfgang blocks it and escapes. Wolfgang with forearms and Caber Toss. Wolfgang gets to his feet first and an eye appears on the SaintTron. Wolfgang with a shoulder to Raja on the apron but Dempsey with an overhead butterfly suplex and bridge for the three count.

Winner; Charlie Dempsey

We see Roderick Strong in the back as he gets ready for his match against Ilja Dragunov.

Meiko Satomura is asked about how she feels about Isla Dawn stealing her title belt. Meiko says that she is the champion but she has no championship. She tells Isla Dawn, she invites her to the ring to speak to her face to face.

We go to footage from earlier in the week of Kenny Williams being asked about what happened to Sam Gradwell and the cockroaches he put in Sam’s bag. Kenny says they were maggots but he doesn’t know anything about it. Kenny says game are always being played around here but none are played as well as by me.

Kenny sees a note on his locker door telling him to watch his back.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Xia Brookside says she is so happy to beat Amale with a little help from daddy and her friend Eliza Alexander.

Eliza says Amale didn’t know her name last week, but now she is living rent free in Amale’s head. She says she has Xia’s back but she is here for herself as well. When she makes her debut next week, someone is going to be battered.

Sid Scala is in his office with Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter as well as the NXT Tag Team Champions Trent Seven and Tyler Bate. Sid thanks them for being here. The issues between them have not been settled in their singles matches. Trent says he won clean and Ashton says it was not clean.

Sid says he has a contract for the Tag Titles in two weeks and it will be a two out of three falls match.

We see Wolfgang walking in the hall and he does not want to talk.

Joe and Mark Coffey come out of their locker room and Wolfgang wants to know where they were. He says that Rohan was with Dempsey. Mark says it won’t happen again.

Next week, Teoman faces A-Kid. Jack Starz and Dave Mastiff will face Mark and Joe Coffey.

Match Number Three: Roderick Strong versus Ilja Dragunov for the NXT UK Men’s Championship

They lock up and Dragunov with a wrist lock and Strong with a reversal. Strong gets Ilja to the mat. Strong keeps Dragunov on the mat. Dragunov with a top wrist lock into a side head lock. Strong misses a chop when Dragunov moves on the break. Strong with a front face lock but Dragunov with a hip lock take down. Dragunov backs Strong into the ropes. Dragunov misses a back fist when Strong moves out of the way.

They lock up and Dragunov with a side head lock. Dragunov holds on to the ropes to avoid the jumping knee. They lock up and Strong with a wrist lock. Dragunov with a single leg take down into a heel hook but Strong kicks Dragunov away. Strong chops Dragunov and Dragunov chops back. They go face to face and exchange chops. They move on to forearms with Dragunov getting the advantage. Dragunov with a take down for a near fall. Dragunov with a jumping kick to Strong. Strong moves when Dragunov charges at him and Dragunov hits the ring post and falls to the floor. Strong sends Dragunov into the ring steps. Strong sends Dragunov back into the ring and Strong kicks Dragunov and stomps on the elbow. Strong with a double wrist lock and Dragunov with a take down. Strong holds on and goes for a cross arm breaker. Dragunov holds on to block the hold.

Strong with a chop and Dragunov with a chop. Strong with a kick to the midsection and then to the back. Strong with a shoulder breaker. Dragunov locks his hands to stop Strong. Dragunov gets Strong on his shoulders but Strong gets to his feet. Dragunov backs Strong into the corner and chops Strong. Dragunov with chops and a back fist. Dragunov goes for a knee in the corner but Strong catches him and hits a back breaker for a near fall. Strong with a crossface chicken wing and forearm to the back. Dragunov with a chop to the leg. Dragunov with a dragon screw leg whip. Strong kicks Dragunov in the injured arm. Strong with a kick to the head and he kicks Dragunov away. Dragunov with a rolling kick to Strong. Dragunov goes for a single leg crab but he has trouble turning Strong over. Dragunov with a heel hook. Strong kicks Dragunov in the ribs but Dragunov with a forearm to Strong on the mat for a near fall. Dragunov with a single leg crab into a Stretch Muffler. Strong reaches for the ropes but Dragunov pulls Strong into the center of the ring. The damage done to Dragunov’s arm forces him to release the hold.

Dragunov with forearms to the back of the head. Dragunov with a wist lock and a German suplex. Dragunov holds on and sets for a second one and hits it. Dragunov holds on for a third but Dragunov tries for a Gotch Lift into a T-Bone German suplex. Dragunov goes for Torpedo Moscow but Strong drops to the mat and rolls to the floor. Strong pulls Dragunov to the floor by his injured arm.

Strong with a half nelson back breaker onto the ring steps. Strong gets a near fall. Strong with a chop and he puts Dragunov on the turnbuckles. Strong sets for a back breaker onto the turnbuckles and hits it. Both men are down. Strong gets a near fall. Strong sets for the running forearms but his knee gives out. Strong with more forearms. Strong goes for a back breaker but Dragunov with a jumping enzuigiri and he hits a second one. Dragunov with spinning back fists and a back elbow. Dragunov with a rolling elbow. Strong with a jumping knee and Dragunov with a running European uppercut for the three count.

Winner: Ilja Dragunov (retains championship)
