LIVE NOTES FROM AEW IN BOSTON

As Bruce Buffer would say, we are LIVE from Agganis Arena in Boston. I’m live. Cory has got you on the play by play tonight. We have a complete sellout here in Boston. Jim Ross with the HUGE ovation before we go on the air.

Tony Khan welcomes us to Dynamite. 

The crowd is coming ready for this and ADAM COLE!!!  Christian Cage is going to try and stop him. Live? Boston is 100% behind Cole, as Christian got something of a tepid reaction. No tepidness for the lockup as Boston is in an early frenzy.  Cole is trying to her himself but Boston is having none of it. Big clothes line on the floor by Cage and Boston cheers.    These guys are giving a solid opener.  Boston is very happy so far. They definitely appreciate Cage kicking out of the running knee. The kitchen sink is about to get used here as NOTHING will pit these guys away. Standing ovation and a big AEW chant. Cole with the big win here and rEDRagon and the AEW Tag Team champions come out and fight away

Adam Page with a surprise appearance. He formally accepts the challenge and says it’ll be on Rampage in Texas in a Texas Death Match. Crowd was very happy to see the champ.

Samoa Joe is in the house!  The audience definitely loves the star power and Max is on fire in the aisle with his rap. Boston believes Caster will die here. Joe hits very hard. Tope suicida and the crowd is wild. This was EXACTLY what it should have been, a Samoa Joe ass whipping.  Jay Lethal with a great promo on the screen. Lethal vs. Joe ought to be great

Capt Dean vs. Spears is exactly what the audience needs right now to bring it down a bit.  The place goes nuts as Wardlow makes his way through the back. Security is being assaulted as Deen scores the upset. Nice W for young Mr Dean.

Jericho and the JAS society run off. I hope they don’t go too far as I have tickets to Fozzy Sunday.

We are psyched for Eddie to cut a promo. He’s on fire. Santana and Ortiz want them next week in a 6 man.

Tony Schiavone with a HUGE reaction as he brings out Jade Cargill and Mark Sterling. Poor Tony gets brushed off. She wants Marina Shafir. In real life, I think not.

It’s a tables match. It seems redundant to write that Boston is on fire so I’ll let this play out.   An insane stunt show is taking place. Hardys win, as expected. It’s truly amazing how much better a show is live. There is nothing at all but complete unadulterated joy here. We saw the Hardys LIVE!!!

Julia Hart is next vs. Hikaru Shida in an Owen Hart tournament qualifier. Seems to me that Hart got a much bigger reaction. She’s clearly playing heel here as she wants no love from the crowd. She’s got some spunk that’s for sure. A let’s go Shida chant erupted   Hart is showing some fire and star power here. Crowd is split, and that’s a credit to Hart.   Boston May be tiring of this just as Shida scores the pin. Serena Deeb comes through the crowd and, I have to be honest, Boston supported her fully.

It’s the ROH tag team title match!!!  It’s FTR!  It’s the Young Bucks!  Hell and Lo. Forgiveness begged If I lay back for this one

Bobby Cruise is here with the introduction and we’re geared up for the main event. The AAA and ROH titles are being defended by FTR here. Crowd is alive for the double sharpshooter spot. This is absolutely a pro FTR crowd thus far. We are definitely appreciative of what these 4 are doing in there. They’re doing their damdest to give us a classic. Bucks almost win this and Boston was not happy. FTR with thr Trigger and Big Rig for the W and the place is VERY happy
