COMPLETE IMPACT WRESTLING IPWF SPOILER COVERAGE FROM DALLAS

By Mike Johnson on 2022-04-02 00:53:00

Welcome to PWInsider.com's live, ongoing Impact Wrestling "IPWF' coverage from Wrestlecon in Dallas, Texas!

This will air this Thursday on AXS TV.

Alesha Edwards is the ring announcer.  The idea here is this is an event taking place in 1985.

Lady Bird Johnson (Havok) vs. Buffy Glam Slam (Lady Frost)

They went back and forth.  At one point, Johnson used a belt.   Slam locked in a submission for the win.

Bill Ding (Trey Miguel) vs. Rapid Delivery Pete (Rich Swann)

It's a construction worker vs. a pizza delivery guy.  They locked up and Ding worked over Pete's arm, screaming "No pizza!"  Ding worked him over until Pete made the comeback and scored the pin.

Tom Hanifan came out as Otto Ottaman, who introduced Tim Ber, who was going to be in an arm wrestling competition.  It was Josh Alexander putting on a ridiculous Canadian accent.  He'll be facing Sex Ferguson, who apparently ran him over with a car and now Tim Ber can't wrestle or chop wood anymore.  A masked man attacked him from behind, raking his face and ran off.

Rusty Iron (Gia Miller) with Riff Razor (Ace Austin) vs. Georgia Cobb (Jordynne Grace)

Cobb nailed a clothesline in the corner and a big delayed suplex for a two count.  Razor intefered, causing a DQ.  Frank the Butcher (Rhino) made the save.  Scott D'Amore, playing a bad wrestling promoter with a worse Canadian accent, announced the "first ever" man and a woman vs. a man and a woman tag team match...

Rusty Iron (Gia Miller) & Riff Razor (Ace Austin) vs. Georgia Cobb (Jordynne Grace) & Frank The Butcher (Rhino)

Frank speared Razor for the pin.

Pelvis Wesley (Heath Slater) with Col. E Corn (John E. Bravo) came out.  They claimed he was the world's most famous singer.  Jimmy Jacobs came out as Sebastian, a big music exec, who said that Wesley would regret not signing with him.  He said he had a hot new signing from New Zealand...it was Bushwhacker Luke Williams.  They had a dance-off.  It ended with Luke using Corn's head as a battering ram on Wesley.

Otto Ottaman introduced an interview Ima Belle (Deonna Purrazzo).  She was asked about Duke Winchester, who was "recovering."  He was in a serious car accident and was in critical condition for quite awhile.  Chad 2 Badd (Karl Anderson) came out and said he knows she was going to announce Winchester had the plug pulled and was gone, but Chad 2 Badd isn't gone.  It's time for her to move on.  She said she is moving on from the grieving stage.  A lesser man would have been gone forever, he's bad.  Winchester showed up behind Badd, who slugged him.  Winchester had a neck beac

Jazzy Fit Body (Madison Rayne) and Wanda The Werewoman (Savannah Evans) vs.  Tina Tiki & Lucy Luau (Giselle Shaw & Tasha Steelz)

Wanda pinned Tiki with a Samoan (Werewolf?) Drop.

Editor in Chief (Chris Sabin) vs. Lunar (Vincent)

Sabin was an evil newspaper editor, who said the ring was a place of business, not a place to have fun.  The crowd enjoyed Lunar's deal, playing a hippie.  Editor in Chief scored the pin.

They did the arm-wrestling challenge with Tim Ber and Sex Ferguson.  Sex stalled for a long time and then when he finally did it, Tim Ber beat him.    This was all silly old school stalling shenigans.

Monty Moonlight (Zicky Dice) vs. DJ 2 Large (Moose)

The rapper vs. the lounge singer.  2 Large showed a lot of charisma and did the entire Hulk Hogan comeback before scoring the pin.

Chad 2 Badd vs. Duke Winchester with (Ima Belle)

Duke had him on the run but Badd scored the pin with his feet on the ropes.

Otto Ottaman brought Big Daddy.  If he loses the next match, he must re-elist in the military.   The pinfall must be a five count.

Big Daddy (Willie Mack) vs. Sgt. Drill (Maclin)

They had a fun back and forth match with Daddy scoring the pinfall with a splash off the ropes.  He is the new IPWF Champion.
