4/1/22 Results from GCW presents Gringo Loco's The Wrld on Lucha From the Fair Park, in Dallas Texas:

Lenny Leonard and Emil Jay are on English commentary.  Sam Leterna is the ring announcer.

Johnny Caballero vs. Jack Cartwheel

Johnny Caballero aka John Hennigan came to the ring dressed in a western outfit and spraying the crowd with a water gun.   They exchanged aerial flips and take downs.   Caballero tried to take down Cartwheel and flipped him out of the ring.   Carthwheel landed on his feet, then did a series of cart wheels around the ring.  Big pop.   Caballero with a low blow and a flipping neckbreaker.  Two count.   Caballero switched to a grappling attack.  Cartwheel fought back with chops.  Caballero puts him on the top rope and hits a high kick which sends Cartwheel to the floor.  Caballero played to the crowd when Cartwheel hit a Frankensteiner and a Sasuke Special.    Caballero hits a larit and misses Starship Pain.   Cartwheel drops Caballero on his head with a reverse Razor's Edge.   Cartwheel hits a flipping moonsault on the floor.   They fight back on the top rope.  Caballero blasts Cartwheel in the face with the water gun.  Cartwheel bumps off the top rope to the mat.   Caballero hits Starship Pain.

Caballero pins Cartwheel.

Psicosis vs. Tony Deppen

Psicosis badmouths Deppen before the match.  Deppen hits a tope con hilo.   Deppen in the ring hits a double knee in the corner.  Two count.  Psicosis take the match to the floor and throws Deppen into the crowd.  Psicosis hits him with a chair.  Back in the ring, Pscicosis traps Deppen in a tarrantula in the ropes.  They begin throwing strikes and chops.  Psicosis goes to the floor and Deppen hits another tope con hilo.   Deppen with a double stomp in the ring.  Two count.   Deppen goes to the top rope.  Pscicosis takes down Deppen off the top rope with a Dragon Clutch.   Deppen gets to the ropes.  Psicosis takes off his belt and whips Deppen.   Psicosis misses a top rope elbow.  Deppen follows with Shining Wizard.

Deppen pins Psicosis.

Both men shake hands after the match. 

Scramble Match:  Golden Dragon vs. Octagon Jr. vs. Drago Kid vs. Aero Boy vs. Chris Carter vs. Shane Mercer

Wild match.   All six men fighting at once.  Carter takes out Octogon with a Frankensteiner and Drago Kid with a high kick.   Mercer powerslams Carter to the mat.  Aero Boy used his quickness to confuse Mercer and plant him with a DDT off the ropes.    Golden Dragon walks the ropes and arm drags Aero Boy out of the ring. Octagon hits an Ace Crusher on Golden Dragon.   Pace picks up.   Octagon hits a 450 splash on Carter.  Mercer throws Drago Kid into Octagon with a belly to belly.  Mercer presses Carter and threw him out of the ring onto the other luchas on the floor.   Drago Kid and Carter battled on the top rope.  Mercer attacked them and lifted them both.   Mercer hit both men with Moonsault and Battery.   DAMN!

Mercer pins Carter and Drago Kid.

Mercer picks up both men and they all shake hands.

Scary move by Mercer.   He almost landed on his head. 

Pagano vs. Sadika

They trade headlocks early in the match.  Sadika drops Pagano with shoulder tackle.  They exchange arm drags.  Sadika pulls off Pagano's shirt and chops him.  Pagano chops Sadika and she hits hard.  Sadika pulls out light bulbs and breaks them on Pagano's back.  Pagano powerslams Sadika on a chair.   Sadika fights back with a double knee to the back.  She hits his knee with a chair.  Pagano fires back with a chop to the chest.   They fight into the crowd.  Pagano dropkicks Sadika into the crowd.  Pagano looks for weapons under the ring.  Sadiko hits him with a chair.  Pagano piledrives Sadika into a chair and light bulb.  Two count.  They hit each other with chops on the ring apron.  She suplexes Pagano off the ring apron on a ladder and a wooden door.  Sadika hits Pagano with chair.  Pagano hits a top con hilo on Sadika, falls back on the concrete floor.   Pagano climbs to the top rope, but Sadika hits him with light bulbs.  Sadika hits a tornado splash on Pagano, putting through a wooden door.   Sadika gets two light blubs.  Pagano hits a Code Breaker on Sadika, but misses the light tubes.

Pagano pins Sadika.

Pagano helps Sadika up and he leads the crowd to cheer her name.   They shake hands and hug.

Sadika is unreal.   She can give and take a beating.  Between this match and her Planet Death match, I give her a lot of respect for what she does.

Team Gringo (Gringo Loco, Demonic Flamita and Abismo Negro Jr.) vs. Team Laredo (Laredo Kid, Rey Horus and ASF)

Team Laredo hit panchas to start the match.  Bodies everywhere.   ASF was the smallest of Team Laredo and Team Gringo focused on him.  Flamita and Gringo caught Laredo Kid and Abismo threw a dropkick into his tail bone.  ASF fought back with a Satellite on all three of Team Gringo.  Laredo with a flipping DDT on Flamita.  Gringo with a Cutter on Laredo.  ASF with a Splash on Gringo.  Abismo hits a Styles Clash on ASF.  Two count.  Horus hits a DDT on Gringo.  He hits another DDT on Flamita.  Gringo hits a double jump moonsault on Laredo.   Gringo hits a somersault plancha on everyone on the floor.  Gringo drops ASF with a  top rope power bomb.

Gringo Loco pins ASF.

Gringo Loco gets the mic and thanks everyone for coming.  He wants to bring the best Lucha Libre to the United States.   He praised everyone on the show. 

AR Fox vs. Ninja Mack

They start with tons of aerials moves.   Fox hit a tope con hilo and a dropkick.  Mack came back with a hard elbow to the chest.   Fox hit a mafia kick on the floor.   He put Mack on a chair and hit a flipping splash into the crowd.  Back in the ring, Fox hits a twisting brain buster.  Mack hit two German suplexes.  Then hit a Sasuke Special on Fox.   Fox hits three cutters on Mack.  Two count.  Fox misses a 450.  Mack with super kick.  Mack misses a Phoenix Splash.   Fox hits a 450 Splash this time.

Fox pins Mack.

Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. Psycho Clown

Psycho Clown comes to the ring.  He brings kids into the ring with him as they dance.  Wagner went out to get in the face of a fan who was talking trash.  Psycho Clown went outside to defend the fan. 

They started out grappling in the ring.  Wagner rolls to the outside.  Clown hits a tope suicida.  Wagner pulls out a light bulb and smashes it on Clown's head.  Wagner glows for the mask of Clown.  The crowd boos.   Wagner bites the forehead of Clown.  Wagner grabs a chair and blasts Clown in the head.  Wagner sets up a wooden door in the ring.  Clown gets hip tossed into the door.  They roll out of the ring.  Clown hits Wagner with a chair.  Clown finds a trash can in the crowd and hits Wagner in the head.  Clown puts the trash can on Wagner's head and gets blasted with a chair.   Wagner is busted open.  Both are bleeding.  Clown breaks a broom on Wagner's back. Clown with a crucifix pin.  Two count.  Wagner hits a  Tower of London on Clown.  Two count.   Clown tries several roll up pins.  Two counts.  Wagner hits a tornado DDT.  Wagner hits a superplex.  Wagner goes for a pin but Clown kicks out.  Wagner tried a top rope hurricanrana, but Clown blocked it and turned it into a powerbomb.  Two count.  Clown finds a trash can lid and hits Wagner.  Two count.  Clown pulls out a door and sets it up in the ring.  Clown spears Wagner into the door.  Two count.  Wagner kicks Clown below the belt.  He rips off the mask.  Wagner rolls up Clown in a small package.

Wagner pins Clown.

Crowd boos.   Clown covers his face in the ring.  Wagner bring a fan in the ring who spoke Spanish.   Wagner challenges Psycho Clown to a Hair vs. Mask match in the future.  Clown puts his mask back on and he takes the mic.  Clown says he will accept if he gets to restart the match.   Wagner leaves the ring and telling him "no".   Clown accepts the challenge and he thanks the fans who came out to see them.

Dr. Wagner Jr. was a great heel.   He played to the crowd and the crowd hated him.   All night the crowd applauded everyone, but the crowded hated Wagner and he knew how to get under their skin.  Being a heel is a lost art.

Overall, a fun show.  Good lucha action.
