Hot Sauce Tracy Williams makes his Wrestling Open debut tonight after running a wrestling seminar earlier in the day! Our spotlight match is a mixed tag featuring 4 participants who stood out this afternoon.
Spotlight Match: Perfect Perkins & Anastasia Morningstar vs Johnny Santos & Indigo
Morningstar comes in but Indigo rolls through and stuns her. Perkins tags in and we meet with chants of “PeePee”. We are children. Santos in and Perkins smashes him into the buckles and hits a good dropkick. Thundering vertical suplex! Santos fights out of a sleeper but Perkins pounds the back. Morningstar in for the double suplex but it goes awry. Morningstar tosses Santos over to tag Indigo back in. This proves costly as Indigo stuns with a handspring back elbow and spine kicks. Morningstar with a pumphandle neckbreaker! Perkins and santos coordinate. Santos hits a crossbody on Perkins, he would have caught it but he trips over Indigo and falls back into the three count!
Winners: Santos & Indigo
And we’re liiiiiiive on IWTV! What will tonight bring? We’re only running live against Mania week. “F*** YOU DALLAS” says the crowd. Paul Crockett is on the headset. Rich Palladino is on the stick. Welcome to Wrestling Open!
Match 1: Members Only (Sammy Diaz & Elijah Six) vs The Haven (Jay Onyx & Shawn Knyte)
The Haven wants their loss back. Members Only doesn’t want to give it and they stomp out and double team on Onyx in the early minutes. Onyx valiant in his escape, fighting to the tag. Knyte in, tonardo ddt to Six for two! Sammy sling shots but Knyte superkicks him off the apron. Haven with a doomsday European uppercut to Six for the pin!
Winners: The Haven
Match 2: Armani Kayos vs Randy Rivera
Rivera has the upper hand at first, tossing Kayos around at will. Armani gets a cheap shot on the ropes after a dodge but that just annoys his opponents. Back body drop for two! Kayos with a slingshot flatliner reversal for two! Rivera with a dodge, back elbow, lariat, back drop! Butterfly driver! Kayos kicks out! Kayos catches Rivera with a curb stomp, great rebound off the mat from Rivera and he’s down for the three!
Winner: Armani Kayos
Match 3: Michael Mistretta vs Rex Lawless
Mikey says nobody’s betta than him. Rex begs to differ and launches him across the ring. Catch fallaway slam. Mistretta pulls the apron, distracting the ref and rakes the eyes. He batters Lawless and screeches about his superiority. Lawles catches him with a half and half backbreaker. Mistretta popped up and popped in the jaw for two. Rex tries the chokebomb but Mistretta tries a triangle. Rex throws him off. Inside out superplex…Mistretta turns in into a crossbody. Rex is staggered but not done. Mistretta catches Rex on the top and screeched before he hits a running knee to the head. Mistretta wants a blockbuster but Rex powers out. One chokebomb later, Rex picks up the win!
Winner: Rex Lawless
The Stetson Ranch is out here. It seems BRG has gone full s***ty cowboy since last week. This week, he chooses BRG as his tag partner again…but Clancy lets Stetson know that he talked to the analytics team and HE is the partner tonight. Brett Ryan Gosling vacates the ring and joins Paul Crockett at commentary.
Match 4: The Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson & Fancy Ryan Clancy) vs The Wild Dogs (Johnny Rivera & Ray Pittman)
Pittman starts and takes over Stetson with ease. Rivera in and the cowboy is taking a beating. Stetson pushes off Rivera and hits a big boot. The cowboy seems content to fight this fight solo and show off his skills to Clancy. Leaping seated senton to the back. Rivera with an enziguri as Stetson taunts his own partner like a big dummy. Pittman with a huge spine buster for two. Stetson has finally had enough and tags out. Clancy with a side Russian leg sweep to Pittman and gets the near immediate win for the Ranch! Stetson seems upset and mockingly claps in Clancy’s face…but he won and he’s happy about that.
Winners: The Stetson Ranch
Match 5: Pedro Dones vs 50 Cal
Dones thinks he taking 50 cal behind the barn but he gets arm dragged repeatedly. Dones resorts to grabbing the mullet. Dodges a dive, Falling headbutt. Dones eats a knee to the gut and a corner spear! Flying crossbody! Kip up! Dones hits a gut buster and 50 Cal’s night is over.
Winner: Pedro Dones
Match 6: Tony Vincita vs “Really Big” Ryan Burgundy
Burgundy is small in stature but he brings a step ladder to even the odds. He baits Vincita in and Tony obliges, tossing Burgundy off his perch. Vincita challenges Burgundy to try and slam him. He tries….and Vincita scoops him up and sends him down. The beatdown continues as Vincita methodically takes Burgundy apart. Burgundy fires up with shots and he slams Vincita! Big pop! Burgundy slingshots off the top into a powerbomb. Vincita puts on a sharpshooter and forces Burgundy to give it up. Boooooo to you, bad sir!
Winner: Tony Vincita
Apparently, Brett Ryan Gosling is the “Sherrif of the Stetson Ranch”. Oh god. He could take down three men if he wanted…but he’s only contracted for one opponent tonight. Of course you are, little buckaroo. Of course you are.

Match 7: “The Victorious BRG” Brett Ryan Gosling vs Dustin “Flash” Waller
Waller’s early flurry is too much for BRG and he cowers on the ropes repeatedly until the chance for an eye poke comes up. A pair of flying axe handles cuts down Flash. A third one meets a punch to the gut. BRG with an elbow drop and pk for two. Flash gets a boot up but misses a running shooting star. BRG with the running kick for two. Brett takes his eye off the prize and turns into a slingshot elbow. A pair of sling blades. Waller with a rolling dvd, kick and shooting star for two! Waller steals the cowboy hat and heads up top. BRG dodges the 450 but gets blasted with a slingshot cutter for the win!

Match 8: “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams vs Ichiban
Williams looks unamused but Ichiban’s number one antics. He wraps up the arms and head and demands Ichiban try harder. Ichiban tries to handspring out but Hot Sauce wrenches the ankles. Ichiban finally gets a headlock on but Sauce slams him down and wrenches at the legs again. Ichiban is out of his league right now as he gives up a two count very early in the contest. Sauce grapevines the legs and holds tight. Test of strength? Ichiban is opens up for palm strikes to the abs and back. Ichiban trapped in a gory stretch and screaming in pain. Ichiban finally fires up with some tosses and a big dropkick. Sauce slammed and dodges a senton. He dead lifts Ichiban for a sitout powerbomb. Sauce with an abdominal stretch since Ichiban won’t stay down. Rising palm strike from number one but Williams hits a backbreaker and back suplex. This very aggressive near sadistic Tracy Williams is picking Ichiban apart. Ichiban survives a brutal brain buster. The crowd chanting NUMBER ONE for him to get back into this. Ichiban escaping pin driver attempts and rolls up Hot Sauce for the pin! He caught him!!! Hot Sauce hits him after the bell. “You’re the future? Take a look at the history that brought them to this second one-on-one match! pic.twitter.com/JDN7JyxI2Q
Match 9: JP Grayson vs Tommy Grayson
This went double count out last time. They just want to fight. They force the ref to check each other for weapons. They wait for the bell and come in HARD. Like last time, this is a brawl as the chant chants “Let’s Go Grayson” back and forth! Tommy tries a guillotine into a standing kimura! JP hits a falcon arrow! Battle gals to the outside, JP slams Tommy to the apron. He grabs a chair from under the ring! The ref warns him off but he blasts Tommy with the chair, drawing the stoppage. The refs and Haven have to stop JP from doing more damage and breaks up the brotherly war again. Wild.
Winner: No contest (really? Not a DQ win for Tommy?)
Jaz has a tip for us? We pelt him with toilet paper. He doesn’t like this: the anti-streamer. He says His buddy Vincita can have the night off. I think he said a tip but we booed him so hard I missed it. He was supposed to fight Kylon King tonight but since King had to step out tonight due to injury, he is very confident for his chances against his replacement main Event opponent.

Main Event: “The Shore Thing” Ray Jaz vs “The Last Entertainer” Encore
This starts slow, with Encore slowly working Jaz over with wrist locks and shoulder blocks. It’s showtime! High angle hip toss! Encore clap clap! Jaz takes control with a well timed boot to the gut, as is his way. He commences the assault on Encore, whipping him to the buckles, landing knees and tossing the Entertainer around. Modified STF in the center, Encore fighting back! Jaz with an overhead toss for two. Encore catches Jaz out of the air but gets pummeled into the mat. Encore finally hits an overhead toss and starts his comeback. Encore with a backslide! Gut kick and back drop! Encore swivels and comes in with a legdrop, Jaz catches it and hits the cradle bomb! Encore kicks out! Jaz throwing knees. Encore with a tornado ddt and senton! High angle splash from the top! Jaz gets a foot on the rope! Jaz escapes the Showtime slam. Jaz hits a shoulder block to the midsection! Sunset flip backslide into the ring and Ray Jaz gets the f***ing pin. His streak continues. Le sigh.
Winner: Ray Jaz
The crowd pumps Encore up even in defeat as we jeer Jaz out of the room. Elijah six hits the ring and gives Encore a shove. Six comes in for more but Encore hits the ripcord showtime slam to close this out! DC is out on the mic to thank everyone for skipping Dallas and staying in Worcester. We ARE the best wrestling crowd. Worcester fans are the tastemakers. This crowd is wild and brings the energy every week. This was a really fun episode! Really enjoyed this Hot Sauce heel turn. Where is the Stetson Ranch going next? Will the Graysons finish their fight? Can we throw toilet paper at Ray Jaz EVERY week? What the F*** is this tweet about?
Next Thursday, 4/7/22 we will make a major announcement regarding the future of @WrestlingOpen. #WrestlingOpen
