It is WrestleMania weekend, and the first show from GCW The Collective is Glory Pro Wrestling’s Cemetery Gates on Fite TV. The commentary team is Veda Scott and Sam Laterna. The venue looks to be a small indoor building, hard to tell how many people are here, but it’s three or four rows of chairs and other people standing.
Four Way Match: Myron Reed vs Carlos Romo vs Shane Sabre vs Danny Jones
The match is running with two people in the ring most of the time, with when someone is taken down, they roll to the floor and someone else rolls into the ring. About two minutes in we get a sequence where all four men in the ring and each man gets taken down so that all four men are on the mat struggling to get up.
This leads to a sequence where each man puts someone into a submission move, a third man breaks it up and puts on a submission move. This then leads to a return to the story being two men in the ring working with the other two on the floor.
The end comes with Myron Reed hits a springboard cutter and follows with the “Captain Crunch” a version of a death valley driver on Shane Sabre, and covers for the three.
Your winner: Myron Reed
A fast paced, short opening match with everyone getting a sequence to shine.

The match starts with Jake hammers Max, who drops. Max gets up and they move to running the ropes. This is gonna be a hoss fight with Max taking Jake down with a shoulder tackle. Four Way Match: Technical Difficulties (Moses The Deliverer & Rahim De La Suede) vs Fly Def (Warren Johnson & Zack Mason) vs Alpha Omega (Camaro Jackson & Kenny Alfonso) vs Hustle & Muscle (Karam & Xavier Walker)
Veda says that it will be moving too fast for them to call it, and since I don’t know anyone in it, I’ll just give my impressions.
The Hustle and the Muscle are the United Glory Tag Team Champions and commentary says this is a title match.
Hustle and Muscle take over at the beginning and control the ring. They take down each team, who comes in to work one at a time. It them moves to a team being in the ring, and a second team coming in to get some moves before a team being tossed from the ring.
I don’t think we are going to get any tags. At all.
All of the teams but Hustle and Muscle do high flying moves, while they concentrate on power moves when it is their time in the ring. At the five minute mark, team move toward doing double team moves to set up two counts.
At the end, Hustle and the Muscle hit a one arm spinebuster on a member of Fly Def and cover for the three count.
Your winners and still Tag Team Champions: Hustle and the Muscle
Much like the first match, it was a style where each team works with the other team, then trading out so that everyone worked with everyone else.

Your winner: Allie Katch
A good stipulation match, and the fact that they gave us the reason for the match and the rivalry added a lot to the contest. Even if it is a brief reason, it adds an emotional component to what is done in the ring.

Most of the wrestling to stop one or the other being tossed into one of the foreign object.
The commentary is fun here as they sell the conflict between Kody partying all the time and Dan being a dad with a full time job. Veda and Sam are clearly having fun here.

This was a good start for the weekend. A mix of styles, lots of action, and a card that built well. Overall, I give it a thumbs up for an indy show.
