Some Wrestlemania 38 notes from Dallas, Texas:
There will be an official reveal of the Wrestlemania stage Thursday with sports and comedy troupe Dude Perfect. We are told that one plan that has been discussed for the reveal would be that a football would be tossed at a target (playing off the Dallas Cowboys) to set off the big reveal with pyro, etc. We are told that above the ring are curved video screens with giant stars incorporated (described as made out of the lighting truss) and that the stars that will have all sorts of lights as part of the production for the event. The entrance stage is said to be a massive video wall. We are told that all the initial testing looks great.
The latest attendance sales bandied about internally are in the 64,000 range per night. WWE expects that both nights will be full.
There is lots of advertising for the event all over the city via digital billboards showcasing the main events and lots of flags and banners featuring WWE talents.
The Dallas Morning News reported today that this week's Wrestlemania 38 events will bring $200 million to the Dallas market and that the show will attract fans from 50 states and 47 countries.
