3/26 ECWA SUPER 8 2022 TOURNAMENT RESULTS FROM NEW JERSEY

ECWA results of the 26th Annual Super 8 Tournament from Moganville, New Jersey, USA at The New Jersey Dugout on 3/26/22 live on IWTV:

Erica Leigh pinned Eric Corvis with a Saito Suplex in a Super 8 Match.

Eel O’Neal pinned Fancy Ryan Clancy after a Fisherman DDT in a Super 8 Match.

Travis Huckabee beat Encore Moore by submission in a Super 8 Match.

Darius Carter pinned Ricky Morton by illegally using feet on the ropes in a Super 8 Match.

ECWA Tag Team Champions The Marvelous Ones (Greg Spitz and Teddy Fine) beat Mr. Ooh La La and Killian McMurphy when Ooh La La was pinned with a handful of tights after a distraction from Sweet Reginald (The Marvelous Ones butler). Ooh La La and McMurphy argued after the match. Ooh La La gave him a stunner.

Intermission- they showed a really cool video package of ECWA’s history with a narrator reminiscing that the company has been around for three different generations of promoters since 1967.

Erica Leigh pinned Eel O’Neal after a spear in a Super 8 Semifinals Match.

Darius Carter pinned Travis Huckabee after the Royal Sweep in a Super 8 Semifinals Match. 

Travis Lee won a 10-man Battle Royal to win the vacant ECWA Legacy Title. Sam Shields was the last champion but had to relinquish it due to a wrist injury.

World-1 Champion Clutch Rockwell beat ECWA Champion Joey Ace by Disqualification when Sam Shields got involved and hit Rockwell with the cast on his wrist. Only the ECWA Title was on the line in the match. Shields looked confused afterwards and the announcers wondered if he hit Rockwell on purpose or by mistake.

Darius Carter pinned Erica Leigh after the Royal Sweep in the finals to win the Super 8 Tournament. Carter gave a victory speech and said he’s the greatest to ever touch the trophy. He said people tried to shut the door on him but he busted it open and he’s now the Super 8 winner.
