Shoko Nakajima and Miyu Yamashita beat Nodoka Tenma and Yuki Aino when Nakajima pinned Tenma after the diving senton off the top rope. This was Tenma’s retirement match. She made her debut in 2016. She and her sister Aino are former Princess Tag Team Champions. They defeated Rika Tatsumi and Miu Watanabe for the titles at the Wrestle Princess show in November 2020. They lost the belts to Sakisama and Mei Saint-Michel in April 2021.
After the match, Nakajima and Yamashita were emotional in their goodbyes to Tenma. Tenma will now have a career as a rice farmer. She asked Nakajima and Yamashita to keep looking out for Aino for her. Aino challenged Nakajima for the Princess of Princess Title and it looks like it will happen on April 9.
Hyper Misao came out and brought out the roster to each take turns giving Tenma drop kicks and corner splashes as a ceremonial send off. Aino gave her the gut wrench suplex and the rest of the roster piled on top for the referee to count three.
Yuka Sakazaki teased hitting Tenma with a bouquet of flowers then gave them to her and hugged her. Flowers from Rika Tatsumi and gifts from Hyper Misao followed.
Tenma thanked the fans and everyone watching on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. She said people say she’s always the first to welcome them in the locker room. She said she’s just wants to be friends with people because life is always fun that way. She talked about COVID making it hard on everyone and mentioned a fan who died from it. The fan was a big supporter of hers and TJPW and she said they still miss the person cheering them on. She said life can all end in a moment and she wants to have no regrets. She said she doesn’t have enough time to thank everyone but will always treasure her career and the people in TJPW.
They rang the bell 10-times to signal the end of the pro wrestling career of Nodoka Tenma. The roster got in the ring with Tenma in the center to pose for photo ops. Everyone took turns giving her a hug and there were lots of tears. Aino gave the last hug. Tenma thanked the crowd one last time and took her final bow in the ring.
