3/24/22 - Worcester, MA

Streaming on IWTV.live

We’re back at the world famous White Eagle for our 12th week! Three months of Wrestling Open! Heck of a milestone when you consider the length of most TV series and even the length of Uncharted Territory itself! We go to our spotlight match!

Spotlight Match: Tony Vincita vs “The Backpacker” Jimmy Townsend

Townsend is a backpacker from Australia…and lost in Worcester. He has a map. He tries to find his way around the ring but Vincita finds him with a fist. Vincita keeps a handle on Townsend’s high flying affairs, catching a tornado DDT into a powerslam. More slams and Vincita pulls out the map to show Townsend where this beating is happening. Townsend dodges an elbow drop, hits knees to the head and a flying European uppercut. Spike ddt and Vincita kicks out! Spinning elbow drops Townsend but he pulls the pin like a big overconfident dummy would. As it turns out, he’s big but not dumb after all and taps Townsend with a sharpshooter.

Winner: Tony Vincita

And we’re live on IWTV! Paul Crockett is at the table solo tonight! Rich Palladino is your announcer! Let’s goooooo!

Match 1: “El Principal” Antonio Zambrano vs “The Last Entertainer” Encore

Zambrano is getting handled early. He even gets a little showtime of his one after blocking a kick. Encore comes running into a backbreaker, Zambrano chopping Encore but the crowd ain’t impressed. Encore takes another slick backbreaker reversal. He tries another but Encore slams free. Flying back elbow! Backdrop, Encore flips out but his back is hurting. He tries the ripcord, Zambrano fights out hit gets hit with Showtime (Rock Bottom) anyways. Three count!

Match 2: Austin Luke & Reid Walker vs The Mane Event (Midas Black & Jay Lyon)

I like these H20 guys as partners! Is Mane Event going to drop another one? Lyon is certainly trying out the gate, keeping Walker isolated and beaten down through several tags. Midas splashbombed onto Walker for two. Walker finds freedom and a tag to Austin. Lyon taking the…lion’s share of the receipt from H20. They get into Midas’ head but he fires up Lyon to hit a spinning uranage on Luke. Tag to Black and he cleans house! Step up spinning back kick! They hit the Grand Finale (pop up X factor) on Walker to get the pin!

Winners: Mane Event

Match 3: Love Doug vs Shazza McKenzie

Doug has flowers for Shazza, she slaps him with the bouquet and petals go everywhere. She’s coming in aggressive but Doug keeps her off balance with his antics. Shazza doesn’t want love, she wants to break Love…Doug. Shazza is grounded though, traps him in the ropes and kicks the heck out of him. We love Doug and Shazza loves beating Doug harder as we chant. Shazza pulls him into a seated octopus but he fights free…into a back suplex. Doug catches her taunting and hits a flying back elbow and big boot for two! Shazza with a fisherman’s suplex off the buckles for two! She throws Doug off of a cutter, she comes him but Doug hits a sliced bread and hooks the leg for three!

Winner: Love Doug

Match 4: Brother Greatness vs “The Big Boy from Brooklyn” Tyree Taylor

But I love chanting for SATAN! He wants to give us a sermon, everyone here is a Judas…especially Tyree. Tyree has a sermon and prays for forgiveness for what he’s about to do to Brother Greatness. He gets a hallelujah and brother greatness is furious and maybe scared for what’s to come. He ambushes Tyree. Codebreaker to Tyree for two! Chest kicks! Tyree frees up and takes his head off with a lariat. Sky high powerbomb ends Brother Greatness’ night in under 3 minutes. Loved this.

Winner: Tyree Taylor

The Stetson Ranch is out here. Steven Stetson has an official invitation for Brett Ryan Gosling to be his partner tonight. He has a hat for him and everything. Meanwhile they have to fight Waves & Curls tonight.

Match 5: Waves & Curls (Traevon Jordan & Jaelyn Brandyn) vs The Stetson Ranch (Steve Stetson & The Victorious BRG)

We hate that hat…until Jaelyn wears it. BRG eats atomic drops. Stetson in but he loves his hat too and we chant Yee Haw for W&C! Poetry in Motion! Stetson trips up Brandyn from the outside and the cowboys try to take him for a ride. BRG can’t stop running his mouth and it almost costs him. Clancy takes Ichiban over, flips out of the wrist lock, Ichiban steps up and comes down into a headlock. Ichiban tries a wheelbarrow cutter but Clancy drops him over his head. Big slam! Ichiban tries a dropkick but Clancy catches it into a single leg crab! Series of grapples, reversals and rollup attempts. Bulldog from Ichiban! Fast one counts! Clancy dodges a kick! Two count roll up! Ichiban with a pin, traps the arm and Clancy takes the L here. Clancy is disappointed but he shares a NUMBER ONE of respect with Ichiban. Really fun match.

Oh F*** Me it’s time for the Jaz Tip of the Day! Dustin Waller’s music hits and prevents the tip from being uttered! It’s official, Dustin Flash Waller is the biggest babyface in the territory now.

Match 7: “The Shore Thing” Ray Jaz vs Dustin “Flash” Waller

Waller is confident in the face of Jaz’s overconfidence. Good chops and a slingshot flip arm drag sends the Shore Thing stumbling. Jaz manages to get a shot in and starts laying down the hard shots to Waller. He can’t stay focused, Flash guts him. Running shooting star! Flash slingshots and Jaz hits the cradle powerbomb! Flash kicks out!!! Jaz almost eats a rollup! Superkick from Flash! Handspring cutter! Jaz kicks out! Flash to the top but Jaz has the ref distracted. A fan from the crowd crotches Waller on the rope and Jaz picks up the pin. Who was that masked man? Well Jaz has a tip…always have a backup plan. The masked

Main Event: “World Class” Channing Thomas (w/ Sidney Bakabella) vs Teddy Goodz (w/ Little Mean Kathleen) (Flavortown Throwndown)

What is a Flavortown Throwdown? Well it’s a street fight…falls count anywhere…no time limit…and Bakabella & LMK are going to be handcuffed together. So it’s gonna get wild. The crowd is HIGHLY anticipating this Beatdown! Bakabella would like everyone to know that HE is in the MAIN EVENT. He also doesn’t want to go get handcuffed. LMK gets the cuffs in and Bakabella is kept in check by a very wild LMK who beats him with his own toupee if he tries to get involved. As for Goodz and Thomas? Well, Goodz blasts Channing over the head with a water pitcher. Goodz drags him on top of the bar…dive off the bar! Bakabella can’t stop LMK from getting a bucket of toys for Teddy. Thomas hits a baseball slide and fills the ring with dolls and action figures. Goodz slammed to the apron. Thomas can’t get the suplex and Goodz drops him onto the dolls.
