MLW FUSION REPORT: STAIRWAY TO HELL MATCH, GANGREL, WILL HAMMERSTONE APPEAR?, AND MORE

Your announcers are Rich Bocchini and Joe Dombrowski.

We begin with a video for the Stairway to Hell Match.

Match Number One: Budd Heavy versus Killer Kross

Kross holds his arms behind his back so Heavy can get the first shot in and Budd punches Kross. Kross gives him another shot. Heavy with a discus punch. Kross tells Heavy to get another shot and Kross with a boot to Heavy. Kross with a clothesline into the corner followed by forearms. Kross with a boot in the corner.

Kross with a Doomsday Saito suplex and a forearm to the back of the head. Kross with forearms to the back of the head while Heavy is on the mat. The referee stops the match.

Winner: Killer Kross (by referee stoppage)

After the match, the crowd wants Kross to give Heavy some more and he obliges. Kross with a Doomsday Saito.

We see footage of the Von Erichs being greeted by Ricky and Kerry Morton. Ricky asks about Marshall’s knee. Marshall mentions that 5150 attacked him. Ricky mentions how the Great American Bash took place in the stadium. Then they talk about going for tacos.

The first Women’s Featherweight Champion will be crowned in the summer.

Richard Holliday walks in the back and Mister Saint Laurent greets him. He congratulates Holliday on his recent successes and Holliday congratulates St. Laurent for bringing in Micro Man.

Holliday says he has some business to take care of.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Richard Holliday makes his way to the ring.

Alex Hammerstone attacks Holliday on the stage and Hammerstone pulls Holliday to the back and he takes off Holliday’s jacket.

Holliday is able to get away.

We take a look at Los Parks’ restaurant.

Someone complains about the food and Los Parks attack the customer.

Gnarls Garvin has a mic.

He says he came a long way and he is the best fighter in the South. He says he came to MLW with a few promises made to him and they have not been met. He says if they send out a no good little boy to fight him, he ain’t coming back. He wants someone who can hang with him.

Match Number Two: Gnarls Garvin versus Gangrel

They lock up and they go around the ring. Garvin backs Grngrel into the corner but Gangrel bites Garvin on the forehead. They exchange punches and Gangrel goes to the floor. They exchange punches. Garvin misses a chop and hits the ring post. Gangrel with a head butt and chop. Gangrel tries to send Garvin tinot the apron but Garvin blocks it and he connects with elbows. Garvin with a head butt and chop. Gangrel with a chop.

Gangrel with punches and Garvin is down. Garvin with a punch and he sends Gangrel back in the ring. Gangrel kicks the ropes when Garvin gets back in the ring and Garvin goes down. Gangrel with an elbow drop. Garvin backs Gangrel into the corner and hits a reverse atomic drop. Garvin with a drop kick. Gangrel goes to the floor and Garvin follows. Gangrel with a low blow and then Gangrel gets the sickle. Gangrel uses the sickle on the forehead.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Gangrel bites the forehead. Gangrel with punches to the forehead. Gangrel with a forearm. Garvin with punches and Gangrel with a slap to the forehead. Gangrel with elbows and clotheslines in the corner. Gangrel with an elbow into the corner. Gangrel with a bulldog. Gangrel punches Garvin in the forehead. Garvin with a kick and clotheslines followed by a back elbow and slam. Garvin misses a cross body against the ropes and goes through the ropes to the floor.

Gangrel with chops. Garvin with a clothesline on the floor. Garvin sends Gangrel back into the ring and Garvin goes up top. Gangrel crotches Garvin on the turnbuckle. Gangrel with punches and ahe bites Garvin’s forehead. Garvin with punches and head butts. Garvin knocks Gangrel off the turnbuckels and misses a frog splash. Gangrel with a kick and Impaler DDT for the three count.

Winner: Gangrel

We go to Cesar Duran and TJP shows up in the office.

Duran asks TJP who he is. TJP says he is the lock on the open door policy. He says he is bored. He says he should not be taking these indie darlings to their best matches. He should be doing something different. He says his waistline could use an accessory.

Duran says he will sign the papers tonight.

EJ Nduka says no one is getting a title match before him. He mentions 5150 spray painted him and no one spray paints him.

Duran asks Nduka who his partner is.

Nduka says he does not need a partner and if he did, he wasn’t going to tell Duran.

Duran leaves the office and he is not happy.

Holliday is running through the back and MSL shows up to sign the deal on the Micro Man merchandise.

Hammerstone grabs Holliday and the shirt comes off but Holliday escapes.

We see the weapons above the ring for the Stairway to Hell match.

We go to commercial.

We are back and we are told that at Azteca Underground, LA Park will face Jacob Fatu in an Apocalypto Match. Aramis will face Gino Medina in a Mexican Lumberjack Match where the lumberjacks will have straps. There will be a six man tag match as well featuring Arez and Micro Man.

We are told that next week, EJ Nduka and a partner of his choosing will face 5150 for the tag titles.

Savio Vega is sneaking around in the back and he enters Duran’s office and takes a seat and then he takes some money.

Micro Man is in a suit case and he tells Vega something.

They leave the office.

We see the weapons above the ring. Mads Krugger has chosen a Baklai War Club while Fatu has chosen a razor wire kendo stick.

Match Number Three: Mads Krugger versus Jacob Fatu in a Stairway to Hell Match

Fatu charges to the ring and Krugger kicks Fatu off the apron. Fatu with a punch and he gets a ladder. Krugger with a suicide dive onto the ladder and Fatu. Krugger brings the ladder into the ring and he sends Fatu into the guardrails. Krugger gets on the ladder and grabs the club. Fatu pushes Krugger off the ladder and Fatu with a pop up Samoan drop. Fatu punches Krugger and sends him shoulder first into the ring post. Fatu gets the ladder and puts it against the ropes. Fatu with a slam and he drops the ladder onto Krugger.

Fatu with a handspring moonsault onto the ladder. Fatu sets up the ladder and punches Krugger. Fatu climbs the ladder and Krugger power bombs Fatu from the ladder. Krugger sends Fatu to the floor. Krugger goes under the ring and he gets a chair. Krugger hits Fatu in the back with the chair. Krugger hits Fatu again with the chair. Krugger sends Fatu back into the ring. Krugger gets another chair and tosses it into the ring. Fatu with a punch to Krugger and Krugger punches back.

Krugger puts the ladder against the turnbuckles. Krugger chokes Fatu in the ropes. Fatu Irish whips Krugger into the ladder. Fatu climbs the ladder and Krugger does too. Fatu with head butts and Krugger falls off. Fatu gets the kendo stick. Fatu hits Krugger with the kendo stick in the midsection and the back. Fatu hits Krugger in the head with the kendo stick.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Fatu with a running hip strike into the corner. Fatu puts a chair against Krugger’s head in the corner and Fatu goes up top for a coast to coast drop kick. Fatu gets a near fall. Fatu sets up the ladder and then he gets the kendo stick. Fatu hits Krugger in the head with it again and Krugger starts to bleed some more. Fatu gets a table from under the ring and puts it in the ring. Fatu sets up the table and Krugger tries to choke slam Fatu through the table but Fatu blocks it and hits two super kicks to send Krugger onto the ladder. Fatu goes to the ladder and Krugger stops him. Krugger with a superplex from the ladder through the table. Krugger gets a near fall and so does Fatu.

Krugger grabs Fatu but Fatu with a punch and uranage for a near fall. Ikuro Kwon makes his way to the ring and Krugger hits Fatu with the club and then hits a full nelson gourdbuster for the three count.

Winner: Mads Krugger

After the match, Krugger says Contra is back and it will be my creation.

Fatu attacks Krugger and then sends Kwon into the turnbuckles. Fatu is pulled from the ring and escorted to the back.

We cut to the back where Hammerstone is looking for Holliday and Alex has found his former friend. Hammerstone rips Holliday’s pants off and Holliday crawls away begging for mercy.

Holliday gets into the limo and it drives away with Hammerstone chasing after it.

We go to credits.
