WWE NXT UK REPORT: SATOMURA DEFENDS THE TITLE, JORDAN DEVLIN, A-KID, AND MORE

Your announcers are Andy Shepherd and Nigel McGuinness.

We begin with a video package for the NXT UK Women’s Championship Match between Meiko Satomura and Isla Dawn.

Match Number One: Charlie Dempsey and Rohan Raja (with Teoman) versus Saxon Huxley and A-Kid

A-Kid and Dempsey start things off. They go to a wrist lock and A-Kid with a take down and he works on the ankle. They lock up and Dempsey with a double wrist lock. A-Kid with a side head lock. A-Kid with an arm drag and drop kick. Huxley tags in and Dempsey pushes Huxley away. They lock up and Dempsey with a knee to the midsection and a double wrist lock. Huxley with a slam to get out of the wrist lock. Raja tags in and Huxley with a slam and clothesline into the corner. Huxley with Irish whips and he holds on as he sends him across the ring many times. Raja with an Irish whip and Huxley with a boot. Huxley misses an elbow drop and Dempsey tags in.

Huxley with a slam and elbow drop for a near fall. A-Kid tags in and he kicks Dempsey. Raja grabs A-Kid’s ankle on the turnbuckles and Dempsey with a suplex for a near fall. Dempsey with elbows to the side of the head. Dempsey with a Fujiwara arm bar but A-Kid rolls through to escape. A-Kid with a chop but Dempsey with a take down and a dragon screw leg whip. Raja tags in. Dempsey with a single leg crab and Raja with kicks to the back. Raja kicks A-Kid and chokes him in the corner. Raja with a forearm and then he slams A-Kid’s head to the mat. Raja with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall.

Dempsey tags in and Raja with a shoulder to the midsection followed by a knee lift from Dempsey for a near fall. A-Kid with a chop. Dempsey blocks a kick and hits a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall. Dempsey with a double wrist lock. Raja tags in. Raja with a forearm and he gets a near fall. Raja with an Irish whip and A-Kid drop kicks Dempsey. Huxley tags in and so does Dempsey. Huxley with shoulders to both men and a clothesline to Dempsey followed by a knee in the ropes. Huxley with a Thesz Press for a near fall.

Huxley goes to the turnbuckles and hits a clothesline but Raja breaks up the cover. Raja goes into the ropes as Huxley goes after him. Dempsey with a knee to the back and a double wrist lock. Dempsey adds pressure to the elbow and then Raja tags in. Huxley kicks Raja and punches Dempsey. A-Kid tags in and he punches Raja and then hits a head scissors and wrist lock take down on both men. A-Kid with a German suplex to Raja.

Huxley tags in and Huxley with a butterfly back breaker followed by a kick from A-Kid. Huxley with a boot to the head for a near fall. Huxley gets Raja up on his back and Teoman heads towards the corner while the referee is distracted by Dempsey. Teoman pulls A-Kid off the turnbuckles and sends him into the ringside barrier. Raja sends Huxley into the ring post and then Raja hits Seek and Destroy for the three count.

Winners: Rohan Raja and Charlie Dempsey

We see Meiko Satomura in the back getting ready for her title match.

We look back at the return of Wild Boar.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Amale is asked about the Women’s Title Match and Xia Brookside interrupts. Xia suggests a rematch since Amale is so inspiring. Amale says she will think about it.

Xia is asked a question but she says she is busy and tells them to go away.

Xia is shown talking to her dad.

Match Number Two: T-Bone (with Eddie Dennis and Primate) versus Wild Boar

Wild Boar comes through the crowd and attacks Primate and T-Bone before the bell rings. They go to the floor .

The referee starts the match. Boar wants to go after Dennis but he has to focus on T-Bone. T-Bone backs Boar into the corner and Boar with punches. T-Bone punches Boar. Boar with a head butt to the midsection followed by a back senton to T-Bone’s back. Primate distracts Boar on the floor and T-Bone attacks Boar from behind and sends him into the ringside barrier. T-Bone sends Boar back into the ring and Dennis has some words for his charge. Boar with punches but T-Bone kicks Boar in the knee and follows with an elbow to the top of the head.

T-Bone gets Boar up and runs him into the turnbuckles. T-Bone with a knee in the corner and then Dennis puts the leg in the ropes and T-Bone kicks it. T-Bone with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Boar with punches and a head butt to the midsection. Boar punches T-Bone. T-Bone catches Boar and hits a fallaway slam. T-Bone sends Boar to the mat and kicks him.

T-Bone with an elbow drop for a near fall. T-Bone misses a splash into the corner and Boar sends T-Bone into the corner and hits a German suplex and a t-bone suplex. Boar with a running shoulder tackle into the corner. Boar knocks Primate off the apron. Boar with a leaping DDT for the three count.

Winner: Wild Boar

After the match, Boar chases Dennis to the back.

Isla Dawn is in the back preparing for the Women’s title match.

Ilja Dragunov says strong is a word he admires because that is how he had to be when he came to NXT UK and how he became the champion. We know that diamonds are made under pressure and there is no one who could put me under pressure like you do. It would be my honor to be in the ring with you. I am a diamond who does not crack under pressure.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Kenny Williams is telling the camera man he does not have time for this. He sees his car stripped. He says someone is messing with him and when he finds out, he will pay for this.

Kenny is asked if it has anything to do with the note from last week and Kenny tells the person to leave.

Roderick Strong will face Ilja Dragunov for the NXT UK Championship in two weeks.

Match Number Three: Danny Jones versus Jordan Devlin

Devlin with a wrist lock and kick but Jones with a chop. Devlin with forearms and a chop. Devlin with more forearms and a running back elbow. Devlin with a knee to the back followed by a chop. Devlin sends Jones into the corner and kicks him. Jones with chops and kicks. Devlin with a kick and knee lift.

Devlin with forearms but Jones with a chop and European uppercut. Devlin with punches and a side head lock. Devlin with a running knee to the midsection. Devlin hyper-extends the arm. Devlin with a short arm clothesline and he gets a near fall. Devlin with a forearm and Jones with punches. Jones with forearms and Devlin with a kick. Devlin with a forearm and Jones goes to the mat. Devlin slaps Jones in the face and follows with a forearm. Jones with forearms and a crossface chicken wing followed by an enzuigiri.

Jones with a running knee into the corner followed by an exploder for a near fall. Jones tries for a sleeper but Devlin blocks it. Jones with a take down into a rollup for a near fall. Jones misses a knee into the corner. Devlin with a slingshot cutter. Devlin with a brainbuster for the three count.

Winner: Jordan Devlin

We have a video package for Ashton Smith and Trent Seven. Trent mentions this is their first singles match against each other and Moustache Mountain will not lose two straight. Oliver says that Ashton has Trent. Ashton says he knows that Trent is desperate and he has Trent’s number. Then we will get our opportunity for the NXT UK Tag Team Championships. Trent says he is not certain about his chi but Tyler knows and he trusts Tyler. They will do anything to keep the title. Ashton says he is not letting anyone down. They will prove that they deserve this opportunity. They lost before but they pulled themselves up.

Next week, Trent Seven will face Ashton Smith.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Mark Coffey says Noam is overconfident. Noam says he is not overconfident. He puts in the work as champion. I made target practice of Wolfgang. I beat your brother. Mark says he does not need to learn from his mistakes. He saw how you work twice. Mark says he will run Noam over on his way to winning the Heritage Cup. Mark says he has not had a lot of singles match so he is not letting this slip away from him. Noam says this is as big as you are going to get so enjoy it.

Noam Dar will face Mark Coffey next week.

Amale will face Xia Brookside next week.

Match Number Four: Isla Dawn versus Meiko Satomura for the NXT UK Women’s Championship

Dawn pie faces Satomura but Meiko with forearms to Dawn. Dawn with a choke in the ropes. Dawn with a forearm to the back and a snap mare followed by an uppercut to the back. Dawn misses a round kick and Satomura goes for the ankle but Dawn escapes. Satomura with an uppercut and a series of kicks. Satomura with elbow drops for a near fall. Dawn runs Satomura into the corner. Satomura backs Dawn in the corner and kicks Dawn on the break.

Satomura misses a forearm in the corner when Dawn goes to the apron and she drops Satomura on the top rope. Dawn pulls Satomura to the floor and kicks her in the back. Dawn sends Satomura into the ringside barrier and follows with a knee. They return to the ring and Dawn gets a near fall. Dawn with an elbow drop. Dawn with an elbow to the top of the head and a knee to the back.

Dawn with a rear chin lock. Dawn with a knee to the back and Satomura powers out of the hold. Dawn with a jumping knee and a boot to the back. Dawn with a knee to the ribs. Dawn with Meteora for a near fall. Satomura with elbows and they exchange forearms. Satomura with a side head lock and knees. Satomura with forearms and a running forearm. Dawn with a jumping knee and a thrust kick.

Satomura with a spinning heel kick and a round kick to the temple and Dawn finally goes down to the mat. Satomura with a Saito suplex for a near fall. Satomura with a kick to the chest and then Satomura goes to the turnbuckles. Dawn gets her knees up on a frog splash attempt. Dawn with a running drop kick. Dawn with a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall. Dawn with a forearm and kick. Dawn goes to the turnbuckles and Satomura with a forearm to stop her. They fight on the turnbuckles. Dawn pushes Satomura off the turnbuckles and Dawn misses Satomura and rolls through. Satomura with a Pele kick and Death Valley Bomb for a near fall.

Satomura with a back heel kick followed by a DDT. Satomura misses the round off knee drop. Dawn with a kick to the head. Dawn gets Satomura up but Satomura escapes and gets the three count with a rollup.

Winner: Meiko Satomura (retains championship)

Isla takes the belt from the referee and leaves the ring with it.
