The first United Wrestling Network taping for the revamped Championship Wrestling TV series, which will now be syndicated as one hourly series as opposed to different local chapters, was held this past Tuesday in Irvine, CA at the Improv. The show was a sellout with about 550 or so in attendance and another 75-100 fans turned away at the door.
The tapings will begin airing in about three weeks.
Booker T appeared as a commentator at the taping, working with Todd Kenely and James Kincaid on the call. He also held a seminar for the UWN talents the night before the taping.
Prince Nana also debuted.
There are plans to bring Primetime Live back once the new Championship Wrestling series and storylines build their foundation.
