WWE NETWORK ADDS SIX CLASSIC WRESTLEMANIA 1-ERA MADISON SQUARE GARDEN EVENTS

The WWE Network added six Madison Square Garden house shows from the Wrestlemania 1-era, 1985 to the streaming service.  Obviously, Peacock is adding them as well here in the United States.

The events added thus far: 

1/21/85:
*Moondog Rex vs. Terry Gibbs.
*Bret Hart vs. Rene Goulet in Bret Hart's MSG debut.
*Jim Neidhart vs. Tony Garea in Neidhart's MSG debut.
*Don Muraco vs. Swede Hanson.
*Blackjack Mulligan vs. Moondog Spot.
*Andre the Giant vs. Ken Patera.
*Big John Studd vs. George Wells.
*Roddy Piper & Bob Orton vs. Jimmy Snuka & The Junkyard Dog.
*The Spoiler vs. Rick McGraw.
*WWF Intercontinental Champion Greg Valentine vs. Tito Santana.

4/22/85:
*WWF Junior Heavyweight Champion the Cobra vs. Barry O.

Notes:

-The February 18, 1985 MSG event included the MTV broadcast "The War To Settle The Score" - there is a question as to whether WWE or Viacom, MTV's parent company, would hold ownership of that part of the event.

-The March 17, 1985 MSG event was already on the WWE Network. Wrestlemania was held March 31, 1985, and that is obviously already on the WWE Network.

-The remaining MSG events added today would feature all of MSG's post-Mania 1 events through August 1985.
