NJPW STRONG REPORT: NARITA VS MATTHEWS, CHRISTIAN VS BEY, AND MORE

Match Number One: Keita Murray, Fred Yehi, and DKC versus Bateman, Misterioso, and Barrett Brown

Keita and Brown start things off. Brown pie faces Keita and Keita pushes Brown. Brown with a side head lock. They lock up and Keita with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Keita with another shoulder tackle. Brown grabs the ankle and Keita with a kick. Keita with a jumping side effect. Brown with a double thrust to the throat and Bateman tags in. Bateman with a punch and forearm. Bateman with a slap and he blocks a kick.

Keita with a punch and Bateman with a forearm. Bateman with a side slam for a near fall. Bateman falls back onto Keita and gets a near fall. Keita with a jaw breaker and kick. Yehi tags in and he connects with forearms and chops. Yehi with a waist lock and Bateman with a standing switch. Yehi with a flatliner and Koji Clutch. Brown breaks up the hold. Misterioso tags in and chops Yehi. Misterioso with a power slam and he lands on his feet on a quebratda attempt. Misterioso with a DDT for a near fall. Misterioso goes for a slingshot senton and lands on Yehi’s knees. Yehi with a cravate and DKC tags in and applies a side head lock. DKC with a hip toss and wrist lock. DKC goes to the ropes and hits a a head scissors take down.

DKC with a springboard cross body but Misterioso catches him and hits a slam and hesitation splash. Bateman tags in and hits an elbow. Misterioso with a kick. Brown gets a near fall. Brown with a forearm to the back and Misterioso tags in and connects with a knee. Bateman tags in and they Irish whip DKC and Brown with an elbow and Misterioso with a splash. Bateman with a slam for a near fall.

DKC with a spinning back fist but Misterioso and Brown go after Yehi and Keita. Bateman with a chop and Misterioso tags in. DKC with a drop kick. Yehi and Brown tag in and Yehi with a shoulder tackle. Yehi with a chop and German suplex. Yehi with an exploder to Misterioso. Yehi with kicks in the corner. Yehi with punches to Bateman and a drop kick to the side of the head. Yehi goes for a suplex but Misterioso with a super kick. Ketia with a super kick. Brown with ahalf and half suplex to Ketia. DKC with a drop kick off the turnbuckles. Bateman with a head butt to DKC. Yehi with a shoudler to Bateman’s knee. Misteiroso sends Ketia to the apron and he does the same to DKC. Misterioso with an Asai moonsault onto DKC and Keita. Yehi kicks Bateman and Brown. Brown icks Btamen buy accident. Yehi with a back fist and fisherman’s suplex for the three count.

Winners: Fred Yehi, DKC, and Keita Murray

After the match, Bateman and Yehi have some words and a standoff in the ring.

Match Number Two: Blake Christian versus Chris Bey

They lock up and Bey with a side head lock. Bey holds on to the hair and maintains the side head lock. Bey sends Blake to the mat and Blake pops up again. Bey with a side head lock and Blake with a rollup but Bey holds on. Blake with a shoulder tackle and he Too Sweets Bey’s face. Christian with a monkey flip and drop kick. Blake with a drop kick and Bey goes to the floor.

Blake misses a baseball slide and Bey sends Blake ot the apron. Blake misses a somersault splash off the apron and lands on his feet. Bey with a drop kick. Bey sends Blake into the guardrail. They return to the ring and Bey gets a near fall. Bey with kicks to Blake’s back. Blake with a chop and Bey with a knee. Bey with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a near fall. Bey with a bow and arrow. Blake with forearms. Bey with a knees. Bey runs into a boot in the corner. Blake with a chop. Blake with a rollup but Bey gets his knees up on a splash attempt. Bey chokes Blake while arguing with the referee. Bey with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Blake lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex and hits a drop kick to the back followed by a Tiger Feint Kick. Blake escapes a tilt-a-whirl back breaker and Blake with a drop kick. Blake with a tilt-a-whirl gutbuster. Blake with a victory roll into a splash for a near fall.

Bey with a rollup for a near fall. Bey kicks Blake away. Bey with kicks to Blake in the ropes followed by an elbow drop to the back. Bey with a torture rack into a neck breaker for a near fall. Blake catches Bey off the ropes and Blake with a German suplex. Bey with a super kick. Blake tries for a Tiger Driver and then hits a German suplex. Blake with a Spanish Fly and springboard 450 splash for a near fall.

Blake goes to the turnbuckles and lands on his feet on a 450 splash attempt. Bey with a rollup for a near fall. Bey with a cutter to counter a springboard moonsault for a three count.

Winner: Chris Bey

We go to Clark Connors. He says he spent four years in the dojo for this moment. Tom Lawlor represented this company as a true champion. Match Number Three: Buddy Matthews versus Ren Narita

Narita misses a kick. They lock up and Buddy backs Ren into the ropes and Buddy makes Ren flinch on a chop attempt. Ren with a wrist lock and Buddy with a reversal and an arm bar. Buddy with a wrist lock. Ren with a reversal and hammer lock. Buddy with a reversal. Ren with a wrist lock and Buddy with a reversal. Ren with a reversal.

Buddy with a side head lock take down. Ren with a head scissors and Buddy escapes. Ren with a side head lock take down. Buddy with a head scissors and Ren escapes. Buddy with a leg sweep and cover. Ren with a leg sweep and cover. Ren misses a kick and Buddy backs into the ropes. Ren helps Buddy up and they go face to face. Buddy with a wist lock followed by a series of standing switches. Buddy with a side head lock take down. Ren with a head scissors. Ren with a side head lock and Buddy with a head scissors.

Buddy and Ren push each other. Ren with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Buddy sends Ren to the apron and Ren with a boot to the head and he tries for a shoulder from the apron but Buddy counters with a DDT. Buddy pulls Ren to the floor and sends him into the guardrails. Buddy with a chop and he sends Ren back into the ring. Buddy gets a near fall. Buddy sends Ren to the floor. Buddy sits in the ring and mocks Shibata. Ren misses a kick and Buddy with a rollup. Buddy sends Ren into the corner and follows with a snap mare and kick to the back.

Buddy with more kicks to the back and Ren stays seated and wants more. Buddy continues to kick Ren and Ren smiles. Ren gets back to his feet and Buddy with a forearm and chop. Buddy with a back heel kick and stomps on the foot. Ren with forearms and a European uppercut. Ren with kicks in the corner. Ren runs into a boot from Buddy. Buddy comes off the turnbuckles and Ren catches him and hits an exploder. Ren with a suplex and bridge for a near fall.

They go to the apron and Ren sets for a German suplex but Buddy with elbows and forearms. They go back and forth with forearms. Buddy gets Ren up and Ren gets back into the ring and applies a sleeper. Buddy sends Ren into the turnbuckles. Ren kicks Buddy in the ropes and connects with a knee and follows with a suplex for a near fall.

Ren with an abdominal stretch. Buddy with a running knee but Ren with a rolling single leg crab. Buddy kicks Ren but Ren holds on to the ankle and applies a spinning toe hold into a figure four leg lock. Buddy crawls to the ropes and forces a break. Ren grabs Buddy’s leg and Buddy with a knee. Buddy goes up top and Ren stops him. Ren sets for a superplex and Buddy with forearms. Buddy goes for a sunset flip power bomb but Ren holds on to the ropes. Buddy with super kicks and a power bomb. Buddy gets a near fall and hits a second power bomb. Buddy with a curb stomp for a near fall.

Buddy with elbows to the chest. The referee pushes Buddy away and checks on Ren. Buddy knocks the referee down and then Buddy stands over Ren and then he hits a V Trigger and Murphy’s Law for the three count.

Winner: Buddy Matthews
